Restaurants across Hyderabad have lined up special meals and terrific offers to help you celebrate India’s 73rd Independence Day. Our top picks include everything from quirky cafés and pocket-friendly buffet to luxury dining.

SodaBottleOpenerWala, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad


As India completes 72 years of independence, SodaBottleOpenewalla, the quirky Irani café, is inviting all those who were there for the first one.


Dine with someone who is 72 years or older to get a 72 per cent discount on the total bill on 15th August. Only one person on the table needs to meet the age criteria for the entire group to be able to avail of this discount. 

Huber & Holly

Head to Huber & Holly to add a touch of sweetness to your Independence Day celebrations. The bestselling Belgian Chocolate Ice-cream will be available for only Rs. 73 on the 14th and 15th August. There is also a flat 20% off on their signature ice-cream cakes and pastries until August 18. Very Berry Cheesecake, Truffle-Oh! and Hazelnut Rocher are some of the popular flavours.

Rajdhani

Rajdhani is showcasing a specially crafted Desh Ki Thali from the 14th to 16th August. The promotion will be available at both outlets of Rajdhani in Hyderabad – Road No 3 in Banjara Hills and Forum Sujana Mall. Savour Rajdhani’s greatest hits along with a pop of colour as the specially curated dishes will be draped in India’s tricolour.

ITC – Deccan Pavilion and Golconda Pavilion

ITC’s Pavilion restaurants are known for putting together scrumptious buffet spreads to celebrate India’s independence.


Last year, they celebrated with 72 dishes curated from all the states in India. This year, the chefs at Pavilion are preparing another colourful showcase of flavours of India. Lunch and Dinner buffet will be priced at Rs. 1947 (including taxes).

ITC Kohenur - Fabelle

Fabelle, ITC Kohenur’s chocolate boutique, is launching six luxury chocolate bars to commemorate India’s 73rd Independence Day. ITC’s master chocolatiers have identified six hero ingredients from the different regions of the country and are pairing them with White, Milk, Dark and Ruby Chocolate. Dark Chocolate smoked with Tea and Pink Himalayan Salt, Milk Chocolate with Jaggery Powder, and Ruby Chocolate with Toasted Sesame are some of the flavours that will be on offer. Each bar is priced at Rs. 350. The proceeds from the chocolate sale will be donated to "Make a Wish Foundation" to spread happiness among children. ITC has also crafted a unique and impressive installation that will be unveiled on the evening of 13th August.


The Dining Room, Park Hyatt, Hyderabad

Celebrate Independence with your loved ones amidst the understated elegance of Park Hyatt’s The Dining Room. The Superlative Freedom Lunch, priced at Rs. 1800 per person (taxes extra), will showcase the culinary diversity of India. The specially curated lunch will showcase delicacies from Kashmir, Punjab, Bengal, and South India.

Qube Cafe, Hotel Siesta

The Independence Day & Raksha Bandhan Celebration at Qube Café is doing exactly what you could expect from it -- offering a bountiful spread at a hard to beat price. The lunch and dinner buffet are priced at Rs. 549 AI, but early birds can grab them for Rs. 499 AI.

Food Exchange, Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre

Food Exchange at Novotel HICC is celebrating Independence Day with a lavish buffet spread featuring delicacies from all the states of India.


Sarson da Saag with Makai di Roti from Punjab, Malvani Chicken and Hirwa Masala from Maharashtra, and Ghevar from Rajasthan are just some of the dishes that’ll be available. This special lunch buffet is priced at Rs. 1947 AI.
