A walk through a ‘hip’ lobby one stands mesmerised gawking at the Heart bar with its framed Hollywood legends and gigantic screen. Walk a little further through the transit bar with its funky netted furniture and you enter the place. An open participative kitchen, black granite pillars with those silver netted chairs gives one a feeling of nostalgic opulence. An all-day dining restaurant, one’s palate is tickled by the Indian, Pan Asian & Western influences with a ‘classical’ twist. Try their signature Mushroom Swiss Burger or the multi grain sandwich, French onion soup, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and Turkish serpentine with a dessert – opera slice. This is indeed a nostalgic journey to one’s palate.
We stayed at Planet Hollywood and this is where we had the breakfast spread each morning. The spread on all 3 days of our stay was amazing, perhaps one of the best I have had so far. A scrumptious spread with a variety that caters to not just Indian taste buds but also the people from other nations. Must especially mention that the staff working here always ensured that the guests are comfortable and were eager to help every individual there. We also had lunch here during our stay and on our 1st day the food was simply delicious but on 2nd day the food was a little cold and because of that it didn't taste great. But overall I liked it a lot and would certainly recommend the place.
First time here at Planet Dailies and certain not for the last time. Was here for super late dinner and here is the feedback. 1. Ambience Casual and relaxed as this was the hotels Coffee Shop. Hence the casual setup. Chose to sit outdoors as the weather was pleasant. Had some nice relaxed music playing on the background. 2. Service standards Being a hotel, the service was good. The steward was helpful in guiding to zero in on a vegetarian option. During the course of the meal, the steward did visit us to check if all was fine with the meal. 3. Food quality Since, had reached late for dinner. Only option was the midnight limited menu. Had the Kadai Paneer with a twist from the Chef. The taste was outstanding along with the specially requested Phulka (Wheat Roti). Will certainly visit this place at a time during the day or night when the entire menu options are available for choice. However, inspite of the limited menu options, it was a visit well worth.
Nestled in the grand ambience and of Planet Hollywood hotel, this restaurant serves breakfast lunch & dinner to its guests with an elaborate buffet spread. The range of cuisine caters to all taste buds at all meal times. They have live stations at each meal as well. For breakfast it’s eggs, dosas, pancakes, waffles & a fresh fruit live counter while for lunch or dinner it’s Mongolian, stir fry, curry or anything different. 4 types of meat are also served & placed on a separate table to ensure the vegetarian guests are well looked after. What we enjoyed most was the delicious Goan delicacies, freshly prepared & served to us. From the chefs to the F&b team, everyone was extremely attentive & service was with a smile at all times. The breakfast got really busy on the weekend we were staying, the team never missed an order though they were overworked. I would suggest choose a table in the verandah for breakfast as the atmosphere is beautiful. They have fans outside so no need to worry about the heat. The open kitchen & screens playing the latest matches are good entertainment if you run out of conversation. They have one of the friendliest staff of any hotel.
Was here for Breakfast, lovely spread, food has improved superbly since my last visit. Loved the atmosphere and ambience and loved the guitar guy- he was playing quite well. Icing on the cake was super attentive efficient hospitality by ever smiling Lana and Midaj. Kudos to both of them. Overall too good.
We had food in this restaurant during our stay at Planet Hollywood Beach Resort. In lunch we took Chinese cuisine which was authentic and very tasty. We had chicken sweet corn soup, Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Garlic Gravy. The service was excellent.
