A walk down memory lane to a night of nostalgia is the best way to describe this work of art.The architecture brings to life a cinematic show real experience in the party streets of Sinquerim. A vintage touch with old school decor, from Hollywood of the past. The food has an interesting take with a mixture of Continental/Mediterranean infused specialities. The portions are plenty so ordered wisely. For the vegetarians try the Mix Veg Wellington - a herbivores adaptation of the famous Wellington. The Lamb Shank Ghee Roast is something to send you belching for more but one morsel is never enough. The Nutella Marshmellow and Banana Quesadilla is a great blend of creative fusion that will want you asking for more.
Small sized pub with ok music. The crowd is also just ok. Average kinda atmosphere. The bar exchange system doesn't appeal as you want to focus more on party than ongoing price fluctuations. Overall average experience.
Last week we visited this restaurant. First of all this place was OK. But the problem is behaviour of the staff. We had ordered some barbecue chicken dish. That chiken was not fresh and it was half cooked. I asked restaurant guy about this then he took dish inside and came back within 2 minutes and told us that this was roasted more so its like this. We were not able to eat 2 pieces also from that like that it was. Staff behavior was like whatever they give we have to eat that and we should not tell anything. Because of this they spoiled out dinner plans that day. Very disappointed with this restaurant.
great place to party should try on weekends or else its dead for rest days. Staff should be a little more courteous.
We had gone there, but had to leave immediately because of the poor service of the restaurant.. it was 8.30 and we ordered pizza, to which the waiter came after 5 min and said, sorry oven is not on..... then we ordered pita n hummus, so again after 5 min the waiter came and said that it’s not available and then we ordered Something else and again they said it’s not available... also their online menu shows many options while they don’t offer the same menu in house.. so we decided to leave.... I was quite disappointed and it was quite evident that their reviews were managed and not true
This place looks like a movie theatre from the outside; has interesting themes for different days of the week...which is a good concept ,a value addition to usual dining experience. Location is near Taj Aguada. We went around 9 pm on thursday ,it was Bachata night ,which is a latin american dance. The instructors were good,we indeed learnt few steps! Dancing with random strangers was a new experience... We had Cheezy Pav Bhaji Fondue: average. Welsh Rarebit did not taste as unique as it's description on the menu. Waiters had to be called again and again. Showbar rocks in terms of entertainment, makes up for the other factors! We are already planning our next visit...
Nightlife of Goa has always been the main reason for its attraction. This lively seaside town with numerous beaches and even much more nightclubs has been a favorite of every tippler in the country. It’s an aim of every youth to experience the thrilling nightlife of Goa at least once. Amongst the long row of funky nightclubs lined up around Goa, we have a special preference for ‘Showbar’. This is one of the hippest nightspots in the city and gets filled really quickly so we suggest you go early to grab a table. Showbar’s quirky sense of décor and an exhilarating ambience to keep your mood constantly elevated puts Showbar on the map of every party-seeker. The nightclub is located beside SinQ Nightclub in Sinquerim, Candolim, a vicinity that always remains busy and dynamic.
Featured under the pub grub is an assortment of dishes made with a fusion twist. Plethora of multi-cuisine nibbles are included in the menu, which spreads across several delicious pages. Being a bar special attention is paid to the appetizers with which you can pair your booze. Some excellent Modern Indian dishes are found on the menu, be sure to look into them. The fun concept of liquor stock exchange with fluctuating prices infuses playfulness to the evening. Soak up the booze with, mini lamb gyros, piggy in a blanket, cheezy pav bhaji fondue, kalmi kebab, spicy popcorn shrimp, desi beef tacos and Parsi style salli boti. Take second course seriously for it includes, gourmet vada pav served with chips, lamb shank ghee roast, mix vegetable wellington, fisherman pot pie, smoked Goan chorizo pulao and spaghetti a la lababdar.
The playful vibe one sees in Showbar extends to its menu as well. Similar to the rest of the menu Showbar has equal amount of creative fun with its final dessert course, which entails scrumptious dishes like, Nutella marshmallow & banana quesadilla, warm apple pie crumble with vanilla ice cream and dark chocolate whisky tart. Opt for chef’s special dessert platter for a more diverse spread. The name Showbar may hint on their love for everything cinema. The old-fashioned cinema hall façade instantly hooks your attention and as you step inside it’s as if you have been transported back in time. A giant movie screen housed under a vintage room with wooden walls and exposed rafters itches your fingers to get clicking. For a little pricey bill Showbar captures your mind with charm and gives you a fantastic night.
