A lounge bar from the Speciality Restaurants group, Hay boasts of casual and comfortable interiors with a huge bar at the centre of the restaurant serving some interesting cocktails. 'New York Sour' (Paul John whisky and red wine with lime juice and bitters) and 'Hay Johnnie' (Johnnie Walker with ginger ale and peach puree) are some of these which will be of interest for whisky lovers. Another interesting concoction with a South Indian touch is 'Tipsy Anna', where coconut syrup, gunpowder, and curry leaves are added to vodka to provide a distinct flavour. 'Sambar Khichdi' is the main course I recommend, while 'Coorg Style Mutton Curry' served with rice or paratha is a good choice too. A special 'Chai-Fi' menu is available until 06:00 pm. You can enjoy items like 'Masala Omelette Pav', 'Chilli Cheese Toasties' or 'Onion Bhajjis' with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee at a very attractive price. You can consult the staff here while ordering, they are quite knowledgeable about the food and drinks served.
