Spread over 2 floors, this one is close to City centre 1 and has always been a hotspot amongst residents in that area as well as office goers. Distinctly done up in all things Bengali, this place exudes nostalgia. There is also a very interesting wall of Ray and other old Bengali cinema posters. With an exquisite a la carte menu, the food is all about giving the best of Bengali cuisine to the diners. 'Narkel Postor Bora' is a brilliant starter where the coconut is finely grated with the poppy seed paste and has a sweet and earthy balance in the mouth with the grainy texture of the poppy seed. 'Daab Chingri' is rightly made with the tender coconut paste along with mustard paste and the prawns are absolutely delightful. 'Kosha Mangsho' has a nice thick gravy which has a balanced taste and nothing overpowers with tender pieces of mutton.
