Strategically located, in a busy area in Bandra, this restaurant is a popular hotspot for families. This place offers comfortable seating options and is spacious. It is the new dishes in the buffet that are really the highlight of a meal here, as the oft-tried ones offer no novelty. Two vegetarian dishes - Raw Banana Curry and Baked Mushroom and Green Peas in a creamy white sauce, were delightful. The Crab Masala, although a regular, was fiery and worth a try. Chicken Lung Fung soup stood out among the Chinese fare. The variety of cocktails in the bar menu are an attraction. As always, the desserts score high and there is plenty to choose from. Walnut brownies and the Indian sweets were a surprise. The service staff in spite of being busy is attentive and ensures guests have a good time.
This restaurant just makes the idea of having a grill on your table a shame. Even after cooking the food for 20 minutes, the food was raw and cold and the staff did not bother at all about the condition of the food. When I went to eat I just did not feel like eating there
This was our first visit to this barbeque nation at Bandra and were honestly very disappointed with the food. The only saving grace was the service and the staff who were very courteous. We have had amazing food at Barbeque nation but were disappointed with the food quality.
My son's birthday was celebrated with warmest greetings from the whole team. A cake, photo frame, card complimentary mocktail all added up. Our Personal waiter Mithun at our table made sure he was looking after our needs. Every request was fulfilled and they went out of their way to make sure the food was to our taste Fresh skewers of amazing starters live pasta chat salad counters Great main course menu and assorted dessert Surely worth every penny Congratulations and keep up the good work
Barbeque nation needs no introduction since it’s already well known for it’s delicious food served around Mumbai through 14 outlets already. I decided to visit the one located at Bandra, hill road bang opposite to Bata showroom. The restaurant is quite spacious and can accommodate around 60 guests. It’s very well known for it’s food of course but I had a great experience with their service too. The staff will guide you right from the beginning till the end of your meal. The chef also keeps visiting your table for any support or feedback. They start off with your preference for veg or non veg. The appetisers were served to us on our table where they have a live barbecue grill. Extremely polite of the staff to keep checking on us for more servings. They keep an eye out for your spice level preference which you can alter. I loved each and every appetiser served which was prawns, chicken, fish and even their salads were a standout. The mains are served in a buffet which is self service. The Chicken Dum Biryani was a highlight for me and the Goan Egg Curry blew my mind. Absolutely delicious. They also have a separate pani puri counter and a kulfi counter serving 6 flavours of kulfi. I had the Mango and Paan flavours and I loved it. The dessert were eye catching and all of them were my favourite. They served Mixed fruit tart Kiwi Cheesecake Walnut brownie Casata Pastry Phirni Gulab Jamun Jalebi It’s the best place to dine for a family and they also will make your day more special if it’s your birthday or any other occasion.
Visited the place in month of April. A nice place with good ambiance. Snacks are really amazing. Visit that place for good nd tasty starters, snacks. Over all a good experience.
Family style dining often takes one to the threshold of the popular Barbeque Nation, the restaurant that has changed the definition of family casual dining all over the country. With this brand all the ideas you might have for conventional dining, changed overnight paving way for a more rambunctious lively ambience. With Barbeque Nation you gain a neutral space where large number of people come together over piles of food and freeing noisy ambience. Barbeque Nation has hundreds of outlets all over the country and Mumbai alone has about thirteen branches. Visit the one in Bandra West if you are closer to that for an equally amazing culinary experience. Situated on the ground floor on Hill Road, Barbeque Nation is always busy, so its recommended to make a prior booking before waltzing in.
There are two USPs which gives Barbeque Nation its popularity. One is live grills on each table and another is pre-fix bill, which means you can eat as much as you want for a fixed price. The concept attracts many large groups of diners and encourages light-hearted eating competitions between friends. Menu focuses on North-Indian, Chinese and Mediterranean cooking for a little expensive price but it’s completely worth it. Their buffet is much more economical however and is generous in bargain. Start with a nice salad or soup or some appetizers to marry your drink. They do a mean veg sheek kebab, fish tikka, tandoori pineapple, grilled prawns, Cajun spicy baby potatoes, paneer tikka, tandoori mushroom and mutton seekh kebab. Main course is a melange of curries, biryani, gravies, noodles and breads.
Round off this lavish meal with an array of equally rich desserts. Gulab jamun, pastries, puddings are good choices. To add the flair, pick a few flavours from their live kulfi station. Interiors of every Barbeque Nation outlet is similar. The same earthy wooden tones are used to define the space with low faux brick walls separating each table from the other. Cushioned low benches flank the table and the whole set up is cozy and informal, designed to encourage relaxation and freer environment. If you want a quiet place, give Barbeque Nation a miss. The restaurant is known for its rambunctious noisy ambience. Décor is pretty straight forward, nothing striking or outstanding about it. Barbeque Nation is not excessively priced and fits in nicely within your pockets.
Give your partner a chance to enjoy the best of Mumbai has to offer by bagging a table at Barbeque Nation. A popular family-style dining restaurant, Barbeque Nation sets itself apart by offering generous buffet spreads to its diners along with a chance to play chef on small live grills attached to each table. The outlet on the ground floor of Hotel Metro Palace on Hill Road, Bandra West, is spacious and smartly decorated. It will be a great spot to take somebody special for a Special Occasion to and show him or her a good time.
