With a part of the café spilling into the lobby and the other section a bit secluded, this place offers two seating area options. The menu on a tab is placed before you and there are soups, salads, pizza, burgers, mains and desserts, to choose from, but the focus is undoubtedly on the Indian section. There is a breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet on offer as well. The food does not really have the wow factor and it tastes like regular fare. The chicken tikka lababdar is worth a try. The chole kulcha with pindi chana and a paneer kulcha is a hearty dish. The caramel custard for dessert with a creamy texture and the right element of sweetness is a pleasant surprise. The ‘healthy gourmet’ section on the menu is what unwittingly catches your attention as the dishes have the nutritive value of the ingredients mentioned. The staff is warm, but the service laid back.
I always look forward to go for Sunday brunches and one of the best place to go in Mumbai is Cafe ambrosia of Ramada hotel powai ... they have all sorts of food, the live counter, desserts(Nizam ki Nazakhat -is a must try dessert where eating one will not be enough)...it’s a place where not only the adults would enjoy but kids as well .. Staffs are very friendly, helpful and the service is superb... overall it’s a must place to visit ... Well done guys 😀👍🏻
Cafe Ambrosia is the inhouse restaurant in Ramada. We came here for a Sunday brunch and i was particularly impressed by their ambience. Good spread, they even had a street food live counter serving samosas and batata wada. While the food was decent, nothing great, a special mention of their cheese cake. I loved it so much, that i ended up having 3 whole pieces.
I am a big lover of Buffets and this is one place where we enjoyed the Midnight Buffet to the core.. It was such a delicious menu with lots of variety :)
Complementary breakfast was served here, they had a huge variety of spreads, it was gr8 experience. keep it up
I stayed at the hotel for a few days and this is where I ate breakfast and dinner. The variety was alright, not superb but not bad. Food was reasonable, I do not have a memory os something extraordinary and yet nothing was deplorable.
