The roof-top location of this fine-dining restaurant along with the view it offers is easily one of its highlights. The live music adds to the ambience. The staid décor, however, needs to be revamped. The menu is varied and offers, Indian kababs, curries and biryanis, although there are a fair amount of options in European and American grills too. The bar is well-stocked and one can expect some classics. The mustard crusted kingfish steak here is a must try for lovers of seafood. The Arabic mezze with a platter of vegetarian Mediterranean starters and pita bread is a treat. In the mains, the seared polenta cake is a surprise. The ‘Mostly Kababs’ section of the menu is the raison d'être of visiting this place. The robust flavours of the Tabak Maas will delight any carnivore. The Goan prawn curry, unfortunately, is mild and lacks authentic flavours. Vegetarians can enjoy the well-made Dahi ke Kebab. The Lauki Dal Ghosht is worth trying and is a meal in itself. The desserts are a bit disappointing. The staff is helpful but the service could be a bit more alert.
Mostly Grills at the orchid first of all has an amazing view and the reason i visited the place. As i am a pilot so what better than an entire airport view for dinner. thanks to neha to bring me here. overall good service and good food. chef vaibhav made delicious sizzler for us and thanks to shailesh for the services and his knowledge about the airport. cheers guys !!
I visited this restaurant inside Orchid Hotel yesterday. It is a rooftop restaurant with a traditional set up. The chef excels in making variety of grilled starters. We tried the seafood served here. The seafood served is fresh & of premium quality. My food experience here: Lobster poutine: Lobster is tossed with white cheese sauce and served inside a lobster shell. The presentations is premium. This can be enjoyed by everyone who loves lots of cheese in thir food. They have amazing masaledar lobster varieties too which is a must try. Chargrilled garlic balsamic prawns: Jumbo prawns are grilled and tossed with chopped garlic & vinegar. Prawns are huge and fresh. It taste quite good & is medium spicy. It goes well with lemon butter sauce. Goan fish curry: This preparation is too delicious to be missed. The The gravy is medium-spicy & goes perfectly well with steamed basmati rice. Fish is fresh and delicious. Nutty sizzling brownie: This dessert was suggested by our server ‘Pritam’ The brownie is genuinely very nutty, tasty & melt-in-the-mouth kind. It tasted great with vanilla icecream & chocolate sauce.
One of my favorite restaurant in Mumbai with a lovely view off aircraft taking off and landing. It's simply amazing view with delicious mouthwatering food. The kebabs are awesome and the staff is tooo good
This restaurant happens to be the city's best keep secret spots which is not just a 20 year old roof top mexicano restaurant but a restaurant with the view of our Domestic and International Airport's Runway! As if this was not romantic enough, they have live music and screenings as well. What's more, you can even book a special roof top area for parties and get-togethers with the same runway view! The best time to visit this place would be towards the sunset while the winter is approaching, where you can enjoy the view, the chill and amazing ambience. Coming to food, we had : Vegetable Barbeque - Baby potatoes, paneer, mushrooms, baby corn and bell peppers marinated in aachari and tandoori flavours was the best barbeque starter on a rainy day Trio pepper and cheddar cigar roll - The flavor of All three bell peppers meddled with cheddar cheese was very well balanced with the sweet chilly sauce Sabz panchvati - Fresh mixed vegetables cooked in Green gravy was lip smacking. Not too spicy and not too bland made it a perfect sabzi for me Roomali Roti is my all time favorite and the masala kulcha here was different as other restaurants sprinkle masala over the kulcha but here instead, the masala was stuffed inside the kulcha which made it really falvourful Chocolate Jar cake took me by surprise as it was a flourless cake baked in a jar and served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Just loved the concept of a cake being flourless. This place has to be the best unexplored restaurant of our city!
If you ever wanted to have lavish lunch/dinner you should definitely try this place called "mostly grills" (the orchid hotel), went here for dinner and i enjoyed a lot here. Ambiance is so catchy and attractive. They've amazing seating and view. We tried - •White wine sangria - Best drink to start your meal of. •Chicken tandoori - Best chicken tandoori I ever had. The flavour of tandoor was outstanding. Chicken was fresh and soft. Just loved it. •Chicken biryani - All the spices were mixed properly and had a very good flavour. Definitely a must try dish here. •Fish tikka - A very good starter, Sea food lovers should definitely try this out its amazing. •Sizzling brownie - All time favorite dessert and must try here. •Rasgulla - Nicely presented, rasgullas were very soft. A prefect end to an mind-blowing meal. Would definitely visit again.
