Tamak

Tamak is a restaurant in Malad West, Mumbai serving North Indian, Chinese and desserts. Known for North Indian dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

Tamak doesn't do "fast food" North Indian. There are no neon-orange gravies or generic masalas here. Instead, it’s an intimate, almost cozy spot (with that signature open kitchen vibe) that takes its slow cooking seriously. Must try the cheese garlic naan kulcha, galouti kebabs, truffle mushroom kulcha. Also, the butter chicken hits all your taste buds right where you want! Do no forget to try their amazing desserts. All sweet tooth lovers like me, this place is a heaven! It’s arguably some of the best North Indian food in Malad right now. It’s slightly pricier than your local "Dhaba," but the depth of flavor justifies every rupee. It’s the kind of place you go when you want to impress someone without looking like you’re trying too hard.

They started with complimentary small papdi chat and their Chutneys were great with complimentary papad.. Palak chat we ordered was amazing crisp, dilli wali paneer starter was yummy.. Shikanji was refreshing.. And in dessert we ordered daulate chat it was light like a foam and taste too good

Visited Tamak today for dinner and it was such a delightful experience. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was excellent, and the staff were polite, attentive, and welcoming throughout. The overall atmosphere was very chill and calming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

A great new place in town. I’d definitely recommend Tamak to anyone looking for amazing food with a wonderful vibe!

This is a relatively new place, and the food here was absolutely delicious. I went with my family, and they served us complimentary bhakarwadi, onions, and three types of chutneys. The Veg Galouti Kebab and Dahi Jalapeno Kebabs are a must-try. The food, service, and ambience were all a perfect 10/10.

We were initially a bit skeptical about visiting since it didn’t have many reviews, but the photos shared by the owner convinced us to give it a try and it turned out to be a great decision! Every single dish was crafted with such attention to detail that I couldn’t stop ordering more.

If you’re looking for genuinely good food, this place is a must-visit. They also take reservations, you can find their number from Zomato. Parking could be an issue sometimes but you'll be fine.

Tried Tamak recently the ambience was pleasant and the staff were helpful throughout.

The menu has a nice fusion edge, with classic dishes served with a modern twist (and some fancy cutlery to match). The pani puri was tasty, kebabs were decent, and the Indian breads came out hot and well done. The laal maas, though, could’ve packed a bit more flavour.

But the real stars were the desserts! The jalebi rabdi and gulab jamun were absolutely divine perfectly sweet and indulgent. Honestly, I’d go back just for dessert!

Had a really exceptional dinner at Tamak, Malad. The place feels thoughtfully designed and has a classy, chill vibe great for a relaxed meal with family or friends without feeling too formal or stuffy. Loved that the staff was attentive but didn’t hover over us, so we could enjoy our food in peace.

Big thanks to Parveen, Vijay, and Rohit for the warm service and the time they took to walk us through the dishes, which made ordering so much easier.

The food looked as good as it tasted, and the cocktails/mocktails were on point too. Definitely going back to try more of their non-veg options. Kudos to the chef! Love the experimentation with the ingredients.

What we tried:
* Avocado Chaat — 5/5
* Mushroom Galauti — 3/5 ( can have more flavor )
* Truffle Mushroom Kulcha — 5/5
* Manchow Soup — 4/5
* Mocktails — 5/5

Overall, a really good evening.. would totally recommend! Finally malad west has a dinner place to recommend?

We went to Tamak searching for another place, landed here by chance.
We loved the food ( Kulchas, Pani Puri, Onion Roti and Soya Sabji), the Indian desserts were mind blowing.

The best part of the whole experience was the quite ambience and the service quality.

Highly recommend Tamak to try Indian food with a twist and quality time with your family and friends

Thanks Team Tamak for a memorable birthday celebration of my mom

Visited with family who were provided a 5 star experience to suit both our palates and comfort. Recommend to visit and experience the food and the joy of being pampered in service.
