Definitely start off with a plate of 'Boneless Bangda' (a godsend for some of us who love the tantalising flavours of mackerel but avoid it for the sheer number of bones one has to sift through to get to the meat) or 'Prawns Aluvadi' – the traditional Marathi snack of steamed rolls with layers of colocasia leaves smeared with a mildly spiced besan paste, stuffed with prawns
• If you want to go for À la carte, try the flavourful 'Bomblacha Bhujna' – a beautifully mellow Bombay duck curry – the clams sukha, and the simple and wholesome 'Prawns Khichdi'
• Non-seafood fans need not feel left out here, as the place does excellent chicken, mutton and vegetarian thalis as well
