The super interesting and the rather classic restaurant from Bombay has made its way to Pune and has been working well here. The lit ambience and some special service really make this one a deal breaker to have some great dining experience. The comfortable sofas are a great idea to get along with your kitty gang or your family. First up, watch out for the drinks and mocktails menu because they make their drinks with fresh fruits and juices extracted for the cocktails and infused drinks. The restaurant is open well early so there is breakfast until 12 noon and to complement that, they also have fresh Cold Pressed Juices which means a great start. That reminds me, the ‘Truffle Oil Scrambled Eggs’ are totally awesome and worthy enough for your attention. The lunch and dinner menu (certainly) offers some of the classics like the ‘Sloppy Joe Burger’, ‘Reuben Sandwich’ and so much more now, compared to its time of the inception. While these might be your favourite (or they will become), the selection of house-made salads and soups is really interesting. The ‘Roasted Cauliflower Soup’ is served with this creamy broth, broccoli and some herbs with some garlic, it is delicious and heart-warming! Next up, the must-eats include ‘Wafer Style Thin Crust Pizzas’, the ‘3 Cheese and 3 Pepper Pizza’ is really nice and has the smoked aroma from the peppers. There are other meat loaded options certainly and they are equally great. The better part about the pizzas is that they add some dehydrated cheese powder to the base which makes it extra special and tasty. The desserts are equally good and most of them come with condiments like caramel sauce, chocolate sauce and whipped cream depending on what you order. Try the ‘Chocolate Whisky Paté’ if you love alcohol-infused desserts, but if that is too much for you, a range of ‘Cheesecakes’ is available to please you.
Great Food and new non vegetarian speciality . Nice Ambiance. Excellent Service. Variety of Ice creams are good and must try.
The food was good but the service terrible.... waiters were not paying attention to the orders, soup had to be sent twice for a simple request of heating it up, the Caipiroska was served in the wrong glass, the ice-cream took for ever to arrive, the billing was not done correctly & had to be re-done...."all things which should have been simple & normal for a restaurant of indigo's stature"... very disappointing experience on account of service...( The good food is kind of forgotten)....
I found the place very nice but the food is little over priced. Their service is good and they take good care of your needs.
Food, ambience was good. The prices were of fine dining which wasn’t the case in ambience. Staff was good, educated. Menu was continental with limited portions though. So not recommended for practical audience. But to enjoy the true English tastes, have a go!
Finally another place which shares my love for smoothie bowls! And the food’s not just very instagrammable but quite wholesome indeed! Eggs done any way, their fluffy and kickass Pancakes, and oh! The Skillets are amazing and serve the purpose for two easily! When I said two, I meant that the “Meat Lovers Breakfast Skillet” serves: 2 Eggs, Bacon, Smoked Ham, Grilled chicken paired with some Caramalized onion & chorizo (pork sausage). This is one hell of a deal for 2 Meat Loving people looking for an awesome breakfast. Indigo Deli is taking the “Oink” factor in almost every possible way. It seems like there’s an option to have Bacon with everything, even “Breakfast Quiches” and “Egg Benedict” . Thankfully, “Farmers Skillet” is one power packed ‘almost vegetarian’ meal (it offers 2 eggs) and comes with a host of bell peppers, chickpeas, mushrooms, spinach , potato hash and roast tomatoes. Talk about increasing the quantity & quality of antioxidants in our body! Did you know? Tomatoes contain ‘Lycopene’ which reduces the risk of many types of cancer! Back to smoothies! Smoothie bowls typically contain a lot of healthy fats, vitamins and protein and serve as a meal replacement most of the time. “Chocolate, Peanut butter & Banana smoothie bowl topped with Walnut Chikki” at Indigo Deli is one of my favourites from their selection, the other being “Almond Vanilla Yoghurt, Topped with Kiwi, Grapes and Chia seeds”. Can be a bit tangy, it does take a refined palate to get used to such things, but hey! Not all healthy things always taste heavenly! For the health conscious amongst us, “Masala Oats” is a must have. Homely flavours and feeling which is quite subtle and completely filling at the same time. Alternatively, Quinoa and Oatmeal pancakes made with an inherent honey filling ensures you don’t need additional syrup, be it maple or anything. Plus it’s paired with a berry compote for that extra fruity rush! Must have for the fluff and feel for sure! All in all, an absolutely gorgeous place to have breakfast/brunch, be it with your fam or your gang..:) Hats off to Chef Tushar for seasoning the dishes with so much love!
