The city recently got a spanking new, swanky hotel called Conrad. Koji is far from the property’s ‘token Asian restaurant’. Thanks to the elegant interiors replete with a wooden floor and stunning chandeliers beaming down at the tables, a meal here is quite fit for an epicurean king, and there could not be a better way to start it than with a tall glass of an Orient-inspired cocktail – be it their wasabi martini or ‘sake’tini or the highly unique cigar-infused Manhattan. Must-haves in the food section are too many to name, but worth a mention are the scallop and prawn coriander soup, the tachodisc with tuna, scallion and edamame, and the four style vegetables in preserved mountain chilli sauce featuring pak choi, mushrooms, broccoli, and carrots.
