The establishment hosts three multicuisine buffets every day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Fresh cold cuts, gourmet cheeses and exotic fruit and vegetables facilitate whipping up an eclectic salad of one’s own, and the plethora of breads is a major plus (do not miss some of the most pleasingly buttery, flaky croissants around town). For breakfasters, the waffle counter and the English breakfast section should not be missed, while the South Indian fare almost always hits the spot. Lunch and dinner buffets offer Indian, Continental and oriental options, with a repeated trope of Marathi food, such as kombdi vade. The menu varies widely, so it is hard to pick a constant favourite, but one thing you can be assured of at a meal here is an ever-changing diversity of choice.
Best place for family food , celebration, service , Chirag from staff helped a lot on 17/09 and the person from pizza counter , thanks for making memorable birthday
We had a Sunday lunch at the Spice Kitchen today. It was great for the kids who could play while waiting for lunch. The hotel provides a guided play zone for kids with fun activities and staf around for face painting, nail art and lots more. The lunch buffet in Spice Kitchen has an amazing variety of specialties and there is live music which brings a different feel to the ambiance. Chef Rajan made sure their where gluten and dairy free specialties for our family as well. All together having a Sunday lunch at JW Marriott is not just a lunch but a great experience.
We frequently visit various restaurants at JW Marriott. Of all the restaurants, Spice Kitchen is our favourite. It is an extremely lively restaurant with high quality and delicious food, pleasant ambiance and good staff. The service needs to be more consistent but we always experience good service from Nanda, Satyata, Simran and the team. Sandeep and Amit too are quite attentive to guest's needs. The star however is Chef Rajan, whose dedication, hardwork and immense care for guests, more than compensates for any shortcomings in any other area. Chef Gagan and Chef Kaustubh too take great care of us. I guess Spice Kitchen was at no. 60 or so on TripAdvisor some 4 years ago. But since chef Rajan took over, its now at no. 2 in Pune. Fantastic achievement! Looking forward for our next visit to this amazing restaurant. - Sneha.
Had a great Experience today while having a breakfast in the spice kitchen restaurant just because of Chef Rajan,Gagan and Ashish. Each time I visit there feels always welcomed and also they give me special attention and take care my special requirement.
Have had several meals at this wonderful restaurant and am always blown away. Specifically this time want to talk about a meal with family we hadn't seen in almost a year on the 20th of last month. To have a meal curated by Chef Rajan himself and seamless invisible service from Tushar, Sandeep and their team was absolute perfection. Allowed us to enjoy a fabulous meal with great classic flavours, whilst respecting the no spice challenges our lot brings and all this with no interruptions - blisssss. Thank you guys truly lovely time.
There is always a need for more family-style fine dining spots in Pune. With bars and youthful cafes swelling in numbers, family preferred places sure come in handy when you want to take your family out for a special dinner. Fancy five star hotels may be heavy on wallet but they have best of both worlds. They provide a global menu served in a classy presentable ambience, ideal for families. JW Marriott Hotel on Senapati Bapat Road is home to its popular all-day dining restaurant, ‘Spice Kitchen’. The restaurant is the perfect blend of affluence, formal and proper background one needs for family occasions. Spice Kitchen provides all that. It remains open 24X7 so you can waltz in anytime for a hearty filling meal with or without family. The place is especially sought after by businessmen and in-house guests.
The menu of Spice Kitchen is a varied one, covering a multitude of cuisines from all over the world. Italian, Asian, North Indian, South Indian and European, all are available here and cooked to perfection. Dining here doesn’t come cheap so be prepared. Keep an eye open for their buffets, which you will find to be lavish as well as economical. Breakfast is quite a thing of beauty, don’t skip. Diverse choices keeps the interest alive every time you visit. Pair your drink with the appetizers such as, murgh reshmi kebab, Thai spring rolls, traditional fattoush, sesame chicken fingers, lagan ki boti, dahi pudina ke kebab, parthdar paneer tikka and tandoori jhinga. Fill up further on, ham & cheese sandwich, chicken tikka pizza, whole wheat penne in pesto, Thai green curry and nehari gosht.
Pamper your sweet tooth with an assortment of delectable desserts. Soft centred chocolate cake, warm apple pie, kulfi, New York style cheese cake, dates & toffee pudding and gulab jamun will do beautifully. Spice Kitchen looks exactly like every other hotel restaurant, only it’s much more airy due to large plate glass windows on one side of the room. The restaurant is generously spacious with formal dining tables added to it for proper sit-down meal. It is cheerfully lit with bright lights and there is plenty of space to sit around comfortably. Spice Kitchen is ideal for a fail-safe dinner with loved ones.
