Chef Nakamura is the father of Japanese cooking in India from his time over a decade and a half ago at Delhi’s Sakura, where he introduced Indians to classic Japanese cooking and was the first Chef to popularise Kobe beef in India. Nakamura is now Chef at this sleekly elegant Japanese restaurant, designed by Tokyo’s Super Potato, and still serves some of the best Japanese food in India for an audience of admiring Japanese expats and visitors. But if you are a fan of Nobu-influenced modern Japanese, then the kitchen team can take you away from Nakamura’s kaiseki-style cuisine and cook a great meal with the finest ingredients, freshly flown in from Japan and elsewhere.
Edo's, is in par with any international Japanese restaurants! We had the course meal which included several small and larger morsels of yumminess. The fish is so fresh and flown in twice a wewk from Japan. The chef, not only does an amazing presentation, he knows his catch of the ocean and meats. Finishing of with a fabulous sesame ice cream! Our waiter Jay was also very helpful and made the experience even more fun!!!
Last minute decision to meet up with my brother to have dinner. PLace is nice. Food is alright. It was relatively quiet for Friday night.
I had a great time at Edo and the Sunday brunch was superb. It got so many varieties and I enjoyed a lot. It really makes my Sunday a funday.
Since, I don’t have a much time to have a one complete meal for a lunch as, I’ve to rush for a meeting. Guess whaT A waitress (Lani) suggested me a bento box, which was amazing, you will get every basic cousin of Japanese food in that small box within a short period of time. It’s a complete combination of these three things (tasty, flavourful and authentic) yet there was a small portion of dessert to complete my meals. Wow, that was great and best lunch I had from very long time. Must thank to this beautiful restaurant (Edo) and beautiful staffs who serve me.
We arrived to the restaurant after reading here the recommends, and honestly everything that has been written here, is understatement. We had 3 sushi rolls, who were so fusion with flavors! one porc dish and two desserts. The waiter gave us great and fine service, and we even got to meat Benjamin the master chef that checked on us and told us his interesting story. One thing I can say, is that doesn't matter what your budget is, you should go there even for once. Prices are not cheap, but worth every penny! We had a great time and sure will go there again when coming back to bangalore. *note that in noon is less crowded and you can realy enjoy the place itself:)
