The original idea behind K&K (called Kebabs and Kurries, to indicate a willingness to forgo spelling in the pursuit of branding) was to create a brand that served the best of ITC’s two great Indian restaurants, Bukhara and Dum Pukht. Menus would be simple, full of pictures and reflective of the restaurant's laid-back ambience. This K&K outpost was the first to mark a break with that trend, and to offer an original menu with some dishes that were not on either the Bukhara or Dum Pukht menus. Its success made ITC rethink all the other K&Ks and to give the concept a unique feel. It still remains a relaxed North Indian restaurant with excellent food, but it is much more than a Greatest Hits compilation of Bukhara and Dum Pukht classics.
I had come on business trip to itc gardenia and visited kebab and kurries there are no words to describe how amazing the lamb biryani is and the murgh angaar both the dishes are must try .Amit ,subhashree and shaik they took care of me very well ,friendly staff .would love to visit again
Delicious food, super ambiance, efficient service, special thanks to nishanth and shaik for making our evening special
Had really awesome tender lamb curry with garlic naan. The taste of the curries were nicely balanced, rich flavor.. You fortunately I was alone and could not try also the kebabs
Really really excellent food. Can easily do a Keto or low carb meal here and leave satisfied. My favourite was the minced chicken with raw mango. The Shahi tukda can be given a miss. A special mention of Nishant for superb service along with Parwal.
Had a very initiate get together for our dad’s bday with a few of his friends over lunch. Amit and his team at k&k were amazing. We had the best service and the food was deemed excellent by everybody at the table. The team also had a bday cake put together on earlier request. The desert offered in the lunch combo had me in a sugar coma for the rest of the day, the jamoon was beyond ... :) . Thank you for making a special day for us memorable with excellent food and service.
ITC is a brand that is not only famous for its hospitality sector but for its gastronomic reach as well. This well-known five star hotel group plays host to some of the biggest iconic restaurants in the country and is the birthplace of legendary establishments Bukhara and Dum Pukht. It’s after a decade of seeing the immense success of its previous restaurants that ITC decided to come up with a menu to showcase Bukhara and Dum Pukht’s greatest hits. This is how ‘K&K’ came into the picture. K&K or Kebabs & Kurries in time created its own niche by adding to its menu their own set of recipes which are neither at Bukhara or Dum Pukht. You can too enjoy the rich fare of K&K at ITC Gardenia on Residency Road, Bengaluru.
The menu of K&K is a wonderful blend of North Indian and Mughlai dishes. Focus on the kebabs, they are K&K’s strong point, especially Kakori kebab. Dig into K&K’s expensive menu through the appetizers, which are best relished with a boozy drink. Take advantage of their impressive bar menu and begin with, barrah kebab, chatpate tandoori aloo, kakori kebab, murgh shami, pudina paneer tikka, tandoori jhinga, murgh angaar, sabut lobster, kham khatai, tali hari machili, murgh malai kebab and tala gosht. The best way to savour the second course is with a basket of flaky buttery flatbreads. Opt for a warqi paratha or naan-e-bahkumaach or uzbeki naan to marry the curries like, qeema methi, aachar murgh, dogra aloo mashoor, baoli handi, murgh bemisal, jhinga do piaza, dal Bukhara, koh-e-awadh, murgh khurchan and mewa makhane ka quarma.
For dessert course order anything between, kulfi, falooda, shahi tukda or phirni, all are good and rich enough to soothe your sweet tooth. Coming to the décor of K&K, you will find the place to have a heavy dense feel, not in the terms of furnishings but in architecture. Thick pale pillars and small open kitchens placed a little apart from each other divides a vastly spacious room. The look is traditionally Indian but minimal. The dining space is elegant and formally seated to encourage proper sit down meals. Servers are dressed in traditional Indian attire, a touch that charms foreign diners. K&K has a strong menu and even stronger cooking which more than makes up for the décor.
