Named for the floor of the landmark Bangalore building, Barton Center, on which it is perched, 13th Floor affords diners a panoramic view of the city, especially the Vidhana Soudha and surrounding areas, alongside excellent and innovative cocktails and food. 13th Floor is known for its potent and perfectly balanced cocktails, of which we highly recommend the 'Rosemary G&T', 'Rose and Rye', 'The Don Draper' (a mix of vodka with fresh grapefruit and rosemary), and 'The Midnight Oil' - a heady combination of coffee, dark rum, with caramel and banana notes. There is also a selection of fresh mocktails for those who do not imbibe, of which the 'Caliph’s Cooler' and 'Nukkad' are great choices. To nibble along with your drinks, order the 'Gunpowder Egg Roast', 'Butter Garlic Parmesan' or 'Sticky Hot and Sweet Thai Sriracha'. 'Very Naughty French Fries', the 'Bon-Bon Chicken' (the establishment’s take on Chilli Chicken with 4 variants of chillies), 'Thai Crispy Beef', or the 'Super Crunchy Pork Bites'. Any of the Asian dishes off the mains section will leave you happy and contented with your choice. They also have their take on a hard to find a regional dish, the 'Hyderabadi Deewan E Handi', a vegetarian prep. There is an expansive Sunday buffet which is a great way to spend the afternoon taking in the cityscape and also get a taste of a variety of dishes from 13th Floor’s menu. Do give it a try with the family.
Decent bar with magnificent view over Bangalore, try going the just before sunset and enjoy the view Friendly staff, cocktails ok but not greats Foods ok and no great either.
After touring trough India for several weeks, our evening at 13th floor was a very welcome change to the usual Indian places. We enjoyed the loud music, the cool business crowd, the delicious pan-asian food and the great view from the terrace. Staff was efficient and prices ok. There was a good selection of wines too.
Came here for lunch on a Saturday with my brilliant guide who was tasked with finding somewhere where I could try several different dishes. The restaurant itself sits at the top of a tower block and the terrace offers a great view of modern Bengaluru whilst the air conditioned inner seating area is comfortable and pleasant. The buffet of meat and vegetarian based dishes was very good and gave us a lovely luncheon experience of varieties of Indian food. The staff were excellent and it resulted in a most enjoyable and rewarding experience. It gets quite busy so I would recommend booking. Overall I would do it again.
This is one place,I like to visit again and again. The view from the open air corridor is fabulous. The drinks are expensive . The food is good and value for money
Never ever imagined a customer can be ill treated Upto this extent , 1. They denied having simple Budweiser or KF or Hinikein beer . 2. They recommended an I know beer , which further they said they don’t have one more of it . 3. They were serving Budweiser to other corporate groups , when enquirer they said it’s reserved for them . Finally they said food has been closed . Almost it’s likesaying, never ever dare to visit us again Oh my my .. what a insulting treatment towards customers , never ever will visit , disguising ... Anand Toyota Bangalore .
