It might be off the central dining spots in Mohali but Club Hollywood is slowly getting attention. While the place opened with much fanfare with a Hollywood theme, it had a tough time managing to attract diners from Chandigarh. Much has to do with the lounge ambience and the fact that the place can get dark and loud. Now active during the day as well, Club Hollywood has reworked its menu to offer a mix of popular favourites bringing in north Indian, Continental and Pan Asian fare. The bar is well stocked and there is a range of cocktails on offer as well. Steering away from north Indian fare, we settled for 'Falafel with Hummus and Pita'. While the presentation was good, the Falafel was not soft and looked and tasted like a 'Vegetable Cutlet'. The Pita and Hummus were good. While the menu might be predictable, Club Hollywood has kept prices relatively low as compared to restaurants offering similar fare. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the place is frequented by youngsters looking for a place to hang out. The prices are pocket-friendly and there’s a multi-cuisine spread on offer.
