This is a rooftop restaurant with exceptional ambient lighting and hence a good place for a romantic dinner. There are two more seating options that include a hookah zone and indoor seating. Each table has enough space for solitude. The prawn provençal has fresh prawns tossed in olive oil, tomatoes, fragrant garlic, onions and white wine. The yakhni Sultan Ibrahim is pan-fried fish with onion shallots and garlic cooked in a tomato basil broth.
Beautiful ambience. Was a first try to meditate cuisine it was ok kind. Service was good. Drinks were good.
This Mediterranean restaurant has a great menu and best location. The staff was attentive and the food was served tastefully as expected of a Taj restaurant. The mezze platter was awesome and gave a taste of all! The soups too were good. The ambience and food made it worth the money spent
I love Mediterranean food so I had to check this one out. We visited as two on a Friday evening for dinner. Seating:5/5 Roof top setting near the pool. If also have indoors seats, if you prefer so. We had a table reserved outside. Chair a bit too big but comfortable. It's very gently lit with only a lamp on the table and very soft music in background. It was perfect for us. Food:5/5 We had two beverages with melon and lichi, both very refreshing. After complimentary breads and dips (very good, can't have enough of it), we had the Mezze sampler with four items (Falafel, Spanakopita, Halloumi Bil Batata & Kolokythakia) amazing taste. That followed a palate cleanser, a fruit sorbet in dry ice, nice! For mains we had Paella De Verdure, delicious! We finished with a dessert sampler (Baklava, Kunafe - my fav & Cheese cake). Service:4/5 The servers were very polite and helpful. The Chef in-charge (I'm sorry I didn't get the name) was very friendly, we chatted a bit. Why 4 for service? It's on the higher side of the price. It's fine dinning and it's Taj, so. All was very nice, I'll definitely visit again. It was very pleasant, except a very very chaotic & noisy group of adults partying besides the pool, disturbing all the guests throughout the dinner. We wished we were considerate of others not screaming and wanting to have a peaceful meal. The management could've politely interfered to keep it down, but no one did.
One of my favourite for mediterranean food .Slick service ,amazing portion sizes ,good taste and top it all the taj flair.
Awesome food n ambiance... chef Albert paid special attention nd walked us through the menu... as my daughter is allergic to wheat he served a special dish made of potato pancakes which was yummy n relished by all.
