ChaoBella at Crowne Plaza is popular for serving delectable Chinese and Italian delicacies. This spacious place is done up with interiors in subtle tones of browns making it a perfect place to enjoy a hearty dinner. The Steamed Mixed Vegetable Dumplings is a great pick for the vegetarians whereas the non-vegetarians should not miss the Steamed Chicken Shumai Dumplings.
Nice atmosphere and good authentic Italian food. They have Chinese too though I tried Pizzas which were great. Very friendly service as well.
My love for the food at Chao Bella is no secret. And this love was rekindled once again, last evening. We were there to taste the new menu, amidst friends and some mouthwatering preparations. Springing no surprises, every single preparation was a delight for our taste buds. Here, a noteworthy mention is the Dumpling Soup. Clear, subtle flavours and so very refreshing. I was reaching for my next spoonfuls, sooner than I had expected. Just the first couple of dishes at my table, and my taste buds were thanking Swami Nandan, Executive Chef & Saurav Agarwal, Chef, Chao Bella for the delectable recipes. Their company and each preparation, was absolutely unadulterated pleasure. And the impeccable service under the supervision of Aditya Bharadwaj deserves a special mention here. But more than taking my word for it, I suggest, you plan your visit some time soon. Chances are, you too would love it as much.
Recently visited this restaurant in Crowne Plaza, Okhla. This was my first visit and would be coming back here again. This one of a kind dual cuisine restaurant serves Chinese as well as Italian cuisine. With hand picked dishes by their executive chef, they serve authentic Chinese! They have launched their new menu which has plethora of options to choose from. Talking about the ambiance, they have fusion ambiance with brown hues done right with a bar on right side when you enter the place. Let’s talk about food We started with Bread Basket followed by italian Salad. Insalata Caprese - Buffalo Mozzarella and tomato salad tasted great. The pesto dressing made it interesting. Beijing Chicken Dumpling soup - The soup had right consistency and the dumpling tasted so good! Doppio Ripieno Ravioli - Had one of the best Ravioli ever. Minced Mushroom with ricotta cheese on one side and sundried tomatoes on the other side. Best of both the flavours. Five spiced Vegetarian dumplings and Chicken Shao Mai dimsums are highly recommended. Tasted perfect with the dips they serve. Quotro Stagioni- Pizza was delectable. Thin crust with perfect cheese and veggies was my favourite. Ending the meal with Tiramisu and Date pancakes One of the best Tiramisu I had I must say. Try it out to know it why it was one of the best. One good place to dine with your loved ones along with great food and wine! This place is highly recommended if you want to have both cuisine under one roof!
Chinese & Italian are two of the most well-liked foreign cuisines in India. This place Chao Bella serves the best of both the cuisines under one roof. LOCATION: it is located at the ground floor of Crowne Plaza, Okhla. If you are coming from metro, Govindpuri is the nearest station. AMBIENCE/INTERIORS: this is a big place with spacious and comfortable seating. The high ceiling gives this place even more spacious feel. The decor is classy & elegant. Two things that i liked the most about the ambience here are: there are multiple seating options when it comes to lighting. If you wanna get a well lit table, chose the ones by the window. If you want the dim lit ones, there are a couple of those too which will also give you a semi-private dining feel. Second thing is the music that they play over their speaker, the slow instrumental that we get as background scores in Chinese movies. All in all, a very feel good kinda place. SERVICE: the staff here is very well behaved and courteous. The service speed however is slow. FOOD & BEVERAGES: Two things that impressed me about their food are: first, they have a simple menu with only a handful of dishes in both the cuisines. Most of the places have a large menu menu with hundreds of dishes confusing the customer over what to order & at the same time increasing the chance of getting a sub-par dishes because the chefs are also human, they can not perfect hundreds if dishes. By limiting the menu, they have made it easier for the customers to chose what to order and also making the chefs kinda specialize in all the dishes that they are serving making it obvious that at majority of the times, the food will taste good. Second thing is the use of fresh and in-house made ingredients bestowing delicious flavours to the food here. The freshness was quite evident in everything that i tried here. I had: ▪Fagioli: flavoured beans soup drizzled with white truffle oil. Damn good. ( 5/5 ) ▪Golden Garlic Dimsums: ( 4.5/5 ) ▪Lasagna Bella: one of the tastiest lasagna that i ever had. Recommended. ( 5/5 )👍🏻 ▪Funghi Pizza: ( 4.5/5 ) ▪Tiramisu: ( 4.8/5 ) ▪Dates Pancake ( 4.5/5 )
Chao Bella serves 2 of my most favourite cuisines - Chinese and Italian. The staff is super helpful and the service is pretty prompt. I food was on the table, fresh and piping hot, within a few minutes of my placing the order. I had the following - 1.Cumin Lamb - This was a clear winner for me. The Lamb wasn’t tough and flavours were spot on. 2.Lasagne Bella - A cheesy vegetable Lasagne can only make you drool an crave for more and this is exactly what the Lasagne here does to you. 3.Prawn and Chive Dimsum - The Dimsums are super juicy and perfectly spiced. 4.The shredded chicken in chilly bean sauce with fried rice was amazing too. Torta Al Ciocoolato - A warm chocolate fondant cake with ice-cream. While it tasted great I only wish it had the fondant oozing out.

The name ChaoBella sounds Italian, and it is, partially but you will find oriental section here as well. Menu is good sized and generous enough to hold plenty of options. First half of the menu is dedicated to Chinese, which sees the selection of classic oriental starters like, honey chilli lotus stem, cumin lamb, Jiaiozi mushroom dimsum, lan zhou chilli fish, five spice vegetables dimsum, glass noodle soup and main course entailing, stir fried French beans, shredded chicken in chilli bean sauce, spinach tofu in garlic sauce and pan fried prawn noodle. Second course moves towards Italian cuisine, opening with antipasti like, fritto misto, zuppa di mare, la nostra bruschetta, fagioli, insalata caprese, to be followed by the mains. Worth trying are, doppio ripieno ravioli, seabass marino, pizza funghi, crosta di agnello alla griglia and gnocchi di pomodoro al forno.
Whatever you are in mood for, Italian or Chinese or even both, ChaoBella would be happy to accommodate you. For your sweet tooth the chef serves, il mio tiramisu, date pancake, scelta di gelato and torta al cioccolato. Uncork a bottle of merlot while you laze around after this satisfying meal. Listen to the live music playing and unwind with a loved one. To define the interiors of ChaoBella one can just use one word – dynamic. Although generic brown tones are used to design the space, you can’t miss the sophisticated gloss of the furnishings. Combined effect of gleaming wood against marble lends a fantastic appearance. Dining style is formal, dress appropriately. Sit outside for a romantic meal. Reserving ahead is recommended.
