Designed by Thai architect Khun Lek Bunnag, The Roseate opens its massive doors to its hotel bar, IAH. This indoor-outdoor bar, like the rest of the hotel, has been designed to combine Thai and Indian sensibilities and is mostly empty, serving in-house guests and weary business travellers on their way to the airport. Drinks like gin-based Singapore sling and Glacier Blue Martini are fully-flavoured but the LIIT leaves a lot to be desired. The pomegranate-infused murg kandhari tikka is finger licking good.
Came into the bar upon check in and were served immediately. The staff were gracious and accommodating to my wife and I (even turning down the music so an old fart like me to chat).
The IAH bar has a lot of “feel” and atmosphere! I like the darkness and sense of a cave-like ambiance! But, you know, you can see outside! Yes, there’s an al fresco extension of this cave! Hey, wait a minute, look out the direction opposit the bar and from the darkness there’s this amazing white feel of steps winding up to heaven with interesting punctures and openings! It’s like an ancient palace staircase moving one’s eyes up and out to nowhere, that is on into an imaginary world! AND, THE DRINKS ARE GOOD!
I visited Iah Bar-The Roseate previous month to taste there unique series of beverages specially there cocktails When I stepped in the bar one of the staff member Manpreet assist me with his superior hospitality qualities and make me feel pleasant and suggested me to taste one of the best cocktail they do have and genuinely I love the cocktail which Manpreet suggested me. So I really enjoyed the series of cocktail in Iah Bar and felt very comfortable because of its staff and great ambience which was very light and peaceful. Everyone should be visit this place once to get fresh n up.
Iah Bar is one of the most wonderful bars in the city. With its elegant ambiance and warm hospitality, they serve an array of amazing beverages. Their cocktails are super and this monsson they have launched few cocktails specialised for the weather. I taste Roohafza Cosmo, Jaljeera Vodka and Corrito. The Roohafza is really refreshing and has a mild balanced flavours. It goes well on a lazy monsoon evening. The other two - Corrito and Jlajeera Vodka, both were equally refreshing. I love Corrito most as it was more refreshing with firm flavors of rum. The place is a must-visit for those who love drinks.
IAH - BAR which is cognoscente’s dream. has a charm of beautiful interiors as well as seating on the veranda. Offers an array of beverages and a surprise element of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine.
