The Roseate is one of Delhi’s loveliest hotels, halfway between an Oberoi-style Vilas and a trendy boutique hotel. The main dining room suffers from being slightly airport lounge-like in the indoor area but the outside seating is gorgeous. And frankly, when you are sitting out in the sun, by the water bodies, you do not care that much about the food anyway! This is not a place for children or women in stilettos. You will have to walk a bit till you get to the restaurant.
We had a wonderful dinner at Kiyan with excellent service provided by Kapil. It was our first visit but not the last. The property itself is amazingly beautiful and well worth a visit. Four of us completely enjoyed a delicious dinner. The menu has so many wonderful things on it with something for everyone. Throughout the meal, we had great service from Kapil. He definitely made the experience extra special. We experienced just a few things that kept us from giving a five-star rating. First – during the dinner there was a lovely flute player performing but he was competing with different music playing on the audio system. Second – the men’s bathroom is lovely but no hand towels. There were thin facial tissue available but no proper hand towels. Third – the door to the restaurant is huge and it takes time to close. Every time the door opened we got a chill from the outside evening air. Fourth – we all ordered martinis and the price on the bill was twice the price shown on the menu. We were told it was because we got a double instead of the standard serving. This made no sense to us because the martini appeared to be the classic size. The martinis were good but not worth over 20 USD with tax etc. included.
Kiyan at The Roseate is one of the luxurious property in Delhi. The huge property is a delight for every visitor and the warm hospitality by Chef Simran Singh Thapar and Staff is something which will make your experience even more warm. The property which spread over a huge area is an amalgamation of contemporary and inherent charm. I tried the food from the on going Pizza Festival which is basically Around the World In 8 Pizza. I tried the half and half Mushroom Teriyaki ( Japan) Teriyaki king oyster mushroo, tempura enokitake , leeks and the Kadhai Paneer Pizza ( India) Tandoori Panner Tikka, bell pepper, and red onions. I was in love with the Chicken Tikka Masala Calzone (uk) it was so cheesy and sooo so good. For the mains we tried the chef special Prawn Curry, Dal Makhani, Fish Tikka along with crispy Naan and Rice. Honestly chef nailed his expertise at the Indian Cuisine. We ended with Kiyan Signature( toffee pudding, espresso caramel sauce and crème glacé ) and the Gol ab ( Gulab Jamun, caramel ice cream ). All In all had a fabulous experienced and it’s totally the best place to take your close ones. Highly recommend
One of the best restaurant in food raste in interior every thing is perfect. Best thing is you can enjoy your food near pool side.
This place is cosy and romantic setting. Food quality is very good. Only challenge is on sitting space for a large group for more than 6 8 people. Pizza is very good. Try green Thai curry with jasmine rice. Do not expect a high speed service. Go in a relaxed mood and ample time.
This is a normal Five Star Hotel Style Restaurant with normal Seven Star hotel prices, and no sound proofing! Noisily exclusive for native Panjabi families! But a very nice Thai collection of dishes! If you like noise and screaming children THIS IS FOR YOU!
A good ambience can overshadow a lot of things, even the food. The moment you walk in a well decked up room, you become overwhelmed by the décor so much that rest of the things fade away. But let’s admit it is a combination of all three things – food, ambience and service. Today we are targeting a stunning property that not only is breathtakingly beautiful but has a charm to make a fan out of you. This place is a little bit further than Delhi, near 21st Milestone, Rajokri to be precise and is a perfect getaway from the hustle-bustle of noisy Delhi. ‘Kiyan’ is part of The Roseate, one of Delhi’s most loveliest hotels and seems like a cross between a luxurious villa and a swanky boutique hotel. The ambience of Kiyan is exquisite at best. Expect glamour, splendour and luxury all rolled into one.
Décor of Kiyan is made in such a way that it simply steals your heart. The Roseate is a beautiful property set in middle of a green pocket and designed in such a way that it brings the outdoor beauty in. Wide picture windows flanks a stylishly decorated room, which is quite spacious and contemporary in approach. Metallic coloured booths in circular shapes dot around the room, including some small formal tables for a more proper dining. Kiyan is just perfect for impressive business dinners when you want to show-off or for quaint romantic meals when ambience counts. The best thing is Kiyan remains open all day long and is operational for breakfast too. Though it is an expensive place to dine, it does carry some exquisite charm.
Keeping the high upscale clientele in mind, Kiyan practices a very global and varied menu. Cuisines like European, North-Indian and Thai are beautifully prepared here but their Thai food is simply outstanding. Pair a bottle of red wine with their scrumptious appetizers such as, tom kha gai, khumb palak ki tikki, tom yum goong, Thai fish cakes, wild mushroom soup, sarson mahi tikka, yum nua, Issan style raw papaya salad, Hyderabadi pathar ke gosht, goat cheese salad and roasted tomato clementine soup. Feast on main like, phad thai goong gai, murgh ki chaamp, makhan malai hing aloo, sous vide cooked chicken breast, roll up lasagne, braised lamb shank nihari style and pizzas. Try out their sabudana kheer – divine!
