This was originally planned as an outpost of London’s Michelin-starred Kai till the owners realised that Indians needed a more varied menu. So even though there is a chef from Kai and a consultancy agreement, Chi Ni is very much its own place. You’ll find Kai’s emphasis on presentation but the menu has many Hong Kong favourites and there are concessions to the local diner in terms of menu favourites but the flavours remain entirely authentic.
A wonderful experience for my wife and myself... The decor, service and food were excellent and contributed to a wonderful experience.
The Chi Ni is a place where one goes for F O O D! And, D R I N K! And R E L A X! The cooks are experts at a wide variety of Oriental Cuisine and Y E S, C H I N E S E! You will love the haute Culture tastes and aromas! Very Nice!
Realy loved the place, more than Kiyan. Staff was exceptional and catered to our needs perfectly. Loved the food. Quick service. Pork ribs could have been better.
I visited this restaurant recently with my friend. Average food and cocktails, Chinese cuisine was not upto mark. Cocktails was very poor in taste only ice in glasses.
This beautiful restaurant is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Delhi NCR. They have a vast menu that one can choose from. I went here along with my friends to try out this beautiful place. This restaurant is made inside an AC hangar standing on a bamboo. The huge area can accommodate around 100 people in one go easily. The service and staff is top notch. Coming to the food we ordered Hot & Sour soup, Wasabi Mushroom, Veg Crystal dimsum, chilli mock chicken, ginger rice, and veg honk Kong noodles. Everything that we ordered was authentic and class in it's own. The taste and texture of the mock chicken was just mind boggling. Hot & Sour soup was perfectly balanced in terms of spices and texture. Crystal Dimsums were evenly cooked with perfect chopped vegetables.Noodles were good to go too. Lastly for the desserts we had spending baked yogurt and senses of chocolates. Senses of chocolate became my favourite right after the first morsel. Overall, if you want to have authentic Chinese, then this is the place for you.
There are quite a many Chinese restaurants in Delhi NCR that can simply take your breath away with their grandeur and gastronomy but no one comes even close to the loveliness of ‘Chi Ni’. Chi Ni is one of the prettiest dining spaces in the city and enjoys the luxury of the clever placement and ambience to the hilt. It’s located at The Roseate near 21st Milestone on NH-8, quite accessible if you’re commuting between Delhi-Gurgaon. Chi Ni was originally planned as an outpost of London’s Michelin-starred Kai and although it still owns a chef for Kai and a consultancy agreement, it is very much its own place. The restaurant redefines Chinese cuisine, giving it an extra edge of sophistication resulting in the restaurant’s popularity. Chi Ni has many unique features that makes it one of the best places for Chinese cuisine.
If you are aware of Kai’s menu and would like the chef to recreate any of its dishes, then ask. The chef will do his best to oblige you and pamper you with attention. One thing is for sure, you will not leave Chi Ni disappointed. Mock meats is Chi Ni’s most unique feature and allows the vegetarians to get a sense of non-vegetarian dishes without crossing the boundary. The menu is expensive but authentic. Start with, crispy spicy mushrooms, peking duck, soft-shell crab salt & pepper, poached fungus Jiang style, lettuce wraps, ash gourd broth, shrimp toast, wasabi mushrooms, aromatic crispy duck and soft-shell crab buttermilk goujons. Main course can be enjoyed with the help of fried rice or noodles. Sweet & sour chicken, Australian lamb chops, steamed lobster, three chilli shrimps, braised lamb shank Chinese style and creamy citrus shrimps.
Coddle yourself with an indulgence of scrumptious sweets after such a fantastic meal. The chef woos you with, senses of chocolate, caraibe fondant with salted caramel, apple ice cream sandwich, splendid yoghurt and Chi Ni chawal. Their innovation shines through the entire menu and complements the ambience perfectly. Chi Ni is located in a luxurious tent on the grounds of the hotel giving the diners a wonderfully unique ambience brimming with romance and splendour. Inside, the décor is formal and elegant. The best seats in the house is outdoors or, if they are full, right next to the window that overlooks the lovely landscape.
