Theme-based cafes are not a novelty anymore but this one definitely makes an impression. Housed in Mohali’s Sector 70, The Shooters Cafe packs in a practice shooting range for enthusiasts. No surprise, it is found itself quite the fan following. The cafe on the ground level plays up the shooting theme in spurts – you will also find desi inscriptions and even a Buddha painting among other things. We like the industrial look of the place complete with wooden and iron tables as well as industrial looking light fixtures. The shooting range is housed in the basement and professional training is available too. The idea is for people to cool off with meals once their session is done. However, you can enjoy just the services of the cafe as well. The ‘Virgin Mojito’ though refreshing was overly sweet. The cold pressed juices here are a new arrival. The menu also offers sizzlers, wraps, thin-crust pizzas et al. The location is off the beaten track and coupled with the good selection of music that they play, makes this place a good evening getaway. We found the staff short on hand and hence service was slow.
