Not many restaurants can boast of spectacular views the way By The Mekong can. Named after the famous river, this restaurant focuses on several South East Asian cuisines. The restaurant has tasteful interiors without any obvious Asian motifs, unlike most restaurants that are usually red with dragons and other Asian elements. In fact, the view from its tall ceiling to floor windows does the impressing. The focus is on Thai Chinese & Vietnamese dishes, no Japanese so do not expect any Sushi here. Service is excellent here and it is the perfect restaurant you would visit for a romantic meal or when you are looking to impress your diner.
The dumpling soup was simply amazing. Sweet corn chicken soup was good, I actually wanted to order the crab soup but because they use crab stick I didn't. That was a let down. The prawn penang was delicious. The jasmine rice was good. Jasmine tea was soothing and went well with the food.
Food is good, taste is nice but the portion size is too small and its quite pricey. Its not really value for money. Ambience is really nice but then they should work on the pricing.

Pathetic service in their private dining service. Dont trust their word. Arvind / Nikhil are the managers interested in pushing you to go for a higher minimum spend but dont provide service to that extent.
