'Labgeer', the creamy and well-spiced beetroot patty, combined with cashew nuts and cheese, is an absolute treat which ensures carnivores will not miss their 'Gilawat ke Kabab'. 'Dum ke Bhooley', 'Murg Angaar', 'Tali Subz Machli' and 'Gucchi Dara' stand out. The food abounds in flavours, heightened by the good quality spices, but nothing overpowers the main ingredients. The slow cooking techniques used by the chefs further enhances the flavours in each dish. The 'Mahi Qaliya' - a piquant fish curry, with raw mango imparting the requisite tanginess, is a must-try. The service staff is warm, efficient and offers exemplary service.

The one in Mumbai is imprinted by the brilliance of Chef Farooqui, who is a master of his craft.
K & K, Kababs & Kurries, is all about North Indian food but its description doesn’t end here. Their menu encompasses and travels all over Northern India including regional cuisines from Lucknow, Hyderabad and Awadh. Menu is paired off beautifully with an impressive range of wines, beers, scotch, gin, vodka and champagne labels from all over the world. Foray into K & K’s menu with a scrumptious selection of appetizers like, saboot tandoori aloo, pudina paneer tikka, machli tikka, barrah kebab, murgh shami, sabut lobster, hara kebab Awadhi, kakori kebab and murgh malai kebab. Try Chef Farooqui’s Chelo rice which could be the highlight of your meal. Otherwise match a warqi paratha or naan-e-Bahkumaach with the delicious curries. Koh-e-Awadh, murgh bemisal, jhinga dum anari, dum aloo bharwan, burrhani gosht and Dal Bukhara are their bestsellers.
Bring the meal to its rightful finish by wrapping up with a rich dessert. Savour, shaan-e-aam, gulab jamun, shahi tukra asal, yaquti, kulfi and kulfi falooda are truly divine. K & K is made in such a way that one has an unbarred view of the open kitchen that flanks the dining room. The décor is in one way rustic but because it is set in such a posh spacious environment that it gains a classy sheen. Interiors have all the stamps of being a traditional old-fashioned looking restaurant with heavy dominating architecture. It’s a good place to take your family or a business associate to. Although expensive, K & K’s food is its key strength.
