This fine dining restaurant with imposing décor exudes a warm vibe. The seating is comfortable and the dining area is spread across different sections. The display kitchen here is undoubtedly an attraction. The waft of the kababs and aroma of the biryanis pervades the air. Robust and hearty, North Indian and Mughlai food – kababs, curries, Indian breads and biryanis, is what you can expect in the food menu. Vegetarians are spoilt for choice. 'Labgeer', the creamy and well-spiced beetroot patty, combined with cashew nuts and cheese, is an absolute treat which ensures carnivores will not miss their 'Gilawat ke Kabab'. 'Dum ke Bhooley', 'Murg Angaar', 'Tali Subz Machli' and 'Gucchi Dara' stand out. The food abounds in flavours, heightened by the good quality spices, but nothing overpowers the main ingredients. The slow cooking techniques used by the chefs further enhances the flavours in each dish. The 'Mahi Qaliya' - a piquant fish curry, with raw mango imparting the requisite tanginess, is a must-try. You cannot possibly come here and not gorge on the 'Dum Pukht Gosht Biryani'. 'Khubani Chenna' and 'K&K Kulfi' are the perfect way to end your meal. The service staff is warm, efficient and offers exemplary service.
Very good Indian food with very nice service from mr. pinkesh. The price is not low but food & service are very good!
Great food, great service. Dhananjay and team gave us an excellent family lunch time. The lamb and chicken dishes were very well done.
The food was amazing but the service made the night. Pradeep helped me find the perfect choices resulting in an exquisite meal with just the right level of spiciness. Everything was delicious but the lamb kebab was the clear winner to me.
Went for a team dinner earlier this month. The kebabs were as usual mouthwatering, but the service really stood out. Thank you Shrinivas, Lokendra and Sandeep for your hospitality and for helping us select the best dishes you had to offer.
I love this restaurant to the bottom of my Heart and I literally consider its food like my second home. I can proudly, it's the best restaurant in the town both quality and quantity wise. Yesterday I had Veg single set menu. I chose sabzdaar kofta, meher paneer, Dal Bukhara with Pudina lacchha paratha. Starters I had a piece of Dum ke phoolen (Paneer patty stuffed with onion), Paneer tikka and tandoori Aloo, dessert Pista Kulfi. Crew Pradeep is too good and others as well Srinivas, Lokendra, Rishikesh. Awesome lay out and we'll maintained under the helm of restaurant manager Ravindra. Chef Quereshi is among the best in India for North West frontier and Awadhi cuisine. Prior reservation is highly recommended. Table for 1 with no alcohol INR 2000+ taxes
What if you had one place that could take care of all your curry needs? A place that is epitome of decadent gastronomy and leaves you with a lifetime of happy food memories. Well, you don’t have to look far for this culinary haven, just till ITC Grand Central in Parel, Mumbai, where the hotel’s snazzy fine dining venture ‘K & K’ is located. Lover of spicy kebabs and aromatic curries will find K & K to be a place close to heaven. This place is a one stop destination for mind-blowing Indian fare. K & K or should we say, Kababs & Kurries, was originally crafted to showcase ITC’s greatest culinary hits but gradually it moved on to display the works of individual chefs. The one in Mumbai is imprinted by the brilliance of Chef Farooqui, who is a master of his craft.
K & K, Kababs & Kurries, is all about North Indian food but its description doesn’t end here. Their menu encompasses and travels all over Northern India including regional cuisines from Lucknow, Hyderabad and Awadh. Menu is paired off beautifully with an impressive range of wines, beers, scotch, gin, vodka and champagne labels from all over the world. Foray into K & K’s menu with a scrumptious selection of appetizers like, saboot tandoori aloo, pudina paneer tikka, machli tikka, barrah kebab, murgh shami, sabut lobster, hara kebab Awadhi, kakori kebab and murgh malai kebab. Try Chef Farooqui’s Chelo rice which could be the highlight of your meal. Otherwise match a warqi paratha or naan-e-Bahkumaach with the delicious curries. Koh-e-Awadh, murgh bemisal, jhinga dum anari, dum aloo bharwan, burrhani gosht and Dal Bukhara are their bestsellers.
Bring the meal to its rightful finish by wrapping up with a rich dessert. Savour, shaan-e-aam, gulab jamun, shahi tukra asal, yaquti, kulfi and kulfi falooda are truly divine. K & K is made in such a way that one has an unbarred view of the open kitchen that flanks the dining room. The décor is in one way rustic but because it is set in such a posh spacious environment that it gains a classy sheen. Interiors have all the stamps of being a traditional old-fashioned looking restaurant with heavy dominating architecture. It’s a good place to take your family or a business associate to. Although expensive, K & K’s food is its key strength.
