Neer dosa and appams pair perfectly with the luscious Mangalorean chicken curry or the tangy fish gassi. Apart from seafood there are abundant mutton and chicken options too. The seating area is spread over three sections and while the first section is bright, the dimly lit inner area, which is cosier, is preferred by families.

Oh my goodness I heard a lot about this place from my friends so recently I visited this place to try their buffet menu and I had such a heavenly experience here The starter menu it self have so many dishes that it's freaking difficult to choose what to eat From prawns to chicken to mutton to what not and even for vegetarians they have quite A lot They in main course they have dishes like mutton gravy chicken gravy Thai curry daal Steam rice mushroom rice and I don't even remember what not it's a feast to eyes and mouth Desserts are my favourite part but after eating all that delicious cefs special menu I was so full but still I had to eat dessert And I am not so suprise that they have quite good variety in dessert as well All and all this place is a hit Do visit and try their sea food coz it's so delicious
It is better to visit this restaurant if you are taking seafood or fish items. They served good food with exact mixture of taste. On the downside it is little expensive and go with that mind only. I have ordered for squid masala fry and appam. Below are the ratings Squid masala fry - 4.5/5 Appam - 2/5 The appam was not good and crispy.
Fish was awesome.. fish noodle was not puri the mark. Complementary mock tail from easy diner was the best.
Every visit for me in Mumbai ive to visit Mahesh lunch home atleast once a trip. This is my first time visiting this branch, i always visit Juhu branch. Well well well, what can i say and where to start. Ill start with my favorite lobster with the tamarindo recipe which was perfectly done, then shared 1.2 kg of crab in the garlic, buttersauce that you cant stop eating it, and we had shrimps in garlic sauce which was ok. Weve been served with a very decent waiter Mr. Pramod which helped us alot during our visit. Id highly recommend this resturant, the only one problem is comparing to other seafood restaurants in Mumbai its little bit higher than all.
Whenever I Stay at The Lalit Hotel I make it a Point to Visit Mahesh Lunch Home at Saki Naka. I Had Boneless Jumbo Tandoori Promphret.They Offer Various Chutneys to Make viz Red, Konkani, Malvani Green, etc. I Had Requested Them to Make in Red Chutney Less Spicy. It Was Delicious But though I Requested For Less Spicy, I Found it to be Spicy But I Enjoyed it Thoroughly. It was So Big, that I Left 2 Pieces. To Cover for the Spiceness I Ordered Malai Kulfi. That Too was Delicious. If You are a Sea Food Lover Straight Away Head To Mahesh Lunch Home. They Serve Prawns, Crabs & Lobsters. All are Shown Live Before being Selected For cooking.

The seafood preparations made in true Mangalorean fashion is the heart and soul of the menu. Portions are generous, be careful while ordering. This iconic restaurant is known for it’s exceptional variety and superb authentic flavours. Although a full-fledged bar menu is available, try their regional non-alcoholic beverage, sol kadi. This seafood galore starts with appetizers like, pomfret tandoori, barbeque crab, lobster bird eye chilli, prawns teppanyaki, squid koliwada, Bombay duck and calamari sukka. For main course choose between, surmai gassi, lobster ghee roast, crab chettinad, prawns Guntur curry, murg methi khaas, lady fish curry, phanaupkari fish, crab Andhra chilly fry and lobster curry.

Carry the built up further with a plethora of sweets such as, malai kulfi, caramel custard, gulab jamun, brownie with ice-cream, licchi ki tehari and Punjabi rabadi.
