An entry into this place and the luxurious vibe is hard to miss. The elegant chandelier, comfortable leather sofas, high ceiling and walls displaying pictures of royalty, add to the charm. The seating area is spread across the ground and mezzanine floor, offering enough privacy. The food menu is unmistakably North Indian and Mughlai, but Executive Chef Amitesh Virdi has infused some freshness with new offerings at this outlet. The vegetarian section has been extended keeping in mind the South Mumbai diners. Some seafood delicacies – 'Tawa Scallops', 'Tandoori Lobster', have also been included to wow the palate of crustacean lovers. The food is a fine balance between typical hearty Punjabi fare and some lighter dishes, home-style and flavourful, but not overpowered with oil and spices. The 'Dahi Ke Kabab', 'Machi Ke Pakode' and 'Bhatti Da Murgh' are palate pleasers all the way. A lot of emphases has been laid on the presentation but not at the cost of taste and quality. Vegetarians have abundant options as well. The 'Tandoori Shakarkandi' is exceptional. For mains, the 'Nalli Nihari' and 'Crab Meat Masala' are not-to-be-missed. Round off your meal with the 'Kalakand', 'Kesari Rabdi'. Service is attentive and prompt.
