A lot of restaurants offer a range of cuisines specially catered to a vegetarian crowd but very few end up executing them well. Spices and Flavours offers a wide choice of dishes ranging from popular Indian ones to Chinese and even a little Mexican and Italian. The highlight is their Indian and Chinese fare but they do lots of pizza and pasta that is equally popular. It is a comfortable restaurant with couch-like seating and a great place to go for a meal with your family or friends. 'Vegetarian Manchurian', 'Schezuan Fried Rice', 'Mushroom Afghani' and 'Hara Bara Kebab in Cheese Sauce' are good choices.
Mumbaikars are often on the lookout for pocket-friendly places to dine at to balance their expensive social life. These affordable dining spots not only save them a bundle but also allow them to indulge freely once in a while. If you too happen to be searching for places like these then we suggest you look into Fort’s direction. The vicinity is home to a wonderful budget-friendly restaurant, popular with the local families for its lip-smacking food. Families are not the only ones visiting ‘Spices & Flavours’ often but office goers too frequent the place for a value for money meal. With cheerful live music, karaoke nights, sheesha lounge, live sports screening and free W-Fi, the restaurant keeps its patrons happy and occupied. You will find the restaurant situated at Rajabahadur Mansion on Hamam Street in Fort.
Although Spices & Flavours keeps a bar menu, surprisingly their food menu is entirely vegetarian. Their menu is a mix of North Indian and Italian cuisines but we recommend you to stick with the desi curries. There is some Chinese and Mexican on the menu too. Variety is truly immense, like really long. With a drink of your choice wade into the menu through the appetizers. Some great nibbles are, schezwan chilly babycorn, zafrani tikka, Kurkure paneer, cigar rolls, jalapeno cheese nuggets, mushroom labneh bruschetta, basilico fondue, hara bhara kebab in cheese sauce, pukhraj kebab, mushroom in oyster sauce and ravioli salad. When between friends, share a pizza. Other mains include, zucchini walnut broccoli lasagna, babycorn & mushroom in chilly soy sauce, motiya zameen tawa, dum ke lakhnavi aloo, paneer kasundi, napoleon spaghetti, paneer chilly and paneer makhani.
Slurp on a thick oreo milkshake or go for a serving of lip-smacking desserts. Spices & Flavours do a good spread. Pick between, shahi tukda shooters, malai kulfi, Ferrero/oreo mousse, sizzling brownie with vanilla ice cream, gulab jamun lasagna, moti chur gol gappa with basundi shots and hot gulab jamun. Not bad for a medium priced restaurant. You have a variety of seating styles to choose from at Spices & Flavours. Elegant formal seating in ivory tones works beautifully against pale walls. Structure is modern and wood-enhanced. Sharp edgy lines are softened by the use of white color. The look is contemporary, formal and structured. Long tables are provided for large group of diners.
