This new entrant in Chembur is a cheerful eatery with simple but trendy décor and distinct design elements that are evocative of the Bombay of yore. The menu too celebrates the city of Bombay and is steeped in nostalgia for most guests. The bar at one end is compact but well-stocked. The menu includes comfort food offerings of the Maharashtrian, Parsi, Sindhi, Goan, Bohri, Gujarati communities, as well as popular street food. The 'Paya Soup with Kadak Pav' is flavourful and satiating. The 'Gujarati Platter' with its myriad offerings is the perfect way to start. The 'Mutton Pattice' is innovative and served with well-spiced 'Mutton Kheema on an Aloo Pattice'. The 'Goan Chorizo with Poi' is another great option. Vegetarians must not miss the 'Sindhi Curry served with Aloo Tuk', 'Dal', 'Boondi' and 'Steamed Rice'. There is 'Rajma Ghee Chawal' too, to indulge in. 'Chicken Sukha with Kori Roti' and 'Sindhi Mutton Curry' stand out among non-vegetarian mains. The food is hearty, the portions generous and the flavour-quotient spot on. Do not miss the 'Lonavala Chikki Ice Cream' for dessert. The alert and warm staff, adds to the enjoyable dining experience.
