This is a haven for Italian food lovers. The menu is very simple and nicely done and there are dishes which are picked from Italian households. The service is top-notch, food arrives quickly and the quirk in the ambience comes from the greenery around the restaurant that is housed in glass walls overlooking the woods. Start with some 'Burrata'. The ‘Chicken Veloute Soup’ that comes with a mushroom and spring onion broth is very tasty. It is a rich and thick broth of that is flavoured with spring onions and the chicken that is cooked well, it all has a nice umami touch to it. There are enough options in appetizers as well which include ‘Spinach and Cheese Dumplings’ or the ‘Truffle Scented Mushrooms’. The mains have a stellar range of House rolled pastas and they are all very unique in comparison to what you eat at some bistros and cafés outside. We love the ‘Beetroot stuffed Gnocchi’ that is served with buffalo ricotta, mushrooms and herbs. All the cooking is done with a fine quality olive oil so you will notice the peculiar flavour. They have thin crust pizzas which are finished in the wood-fired oven, all of them are done quite nicely and decently generous with toppings too. The large plates have a nice seafood menu, the one that will remind you of your brunching experiences in Italy. ‘Grilled Seared Tuna with Red Wine Onions’, Borlotti beans and thyme flavoured potato is a really fruitful dish, some sweet, some bitter, very meaty and delish tuna fish there is. If you like something that is more prominent in Italian flavours, it could be the 'Grilled Chicken with Wild Mushrooms, Spinach and Rosemary Jus'. The jus is really nice and has a peppery touch to it, so, you would not feel the need for extra seasoning as such. The desserts are special too, some of the classics like 'Tiramisu'. Apart from the regulars, the ‘85% Dark Chocolate Tart with Hazelnut Gelato’ is outstanding. The ‘Mille Feuille’ is also a great option that is served with Vanilla Bean Crème and Raspberry Sorbet on the side.
