When you say Thali, you have enough options in the city that have captured the attention of the people and they have now become the favourites. If you want to have a similar type of thali in a star hotel, with some better service and airy interiors and space, this is where you land up. Unlike the regular thali places in the city, these guys serve the appetizers first and then they take a break of about 15 minutes before they serve you the mains. Now that is the only thing that makes them different compared to the others. This allows diners to have some good space for the next meal to come in and there is enough around the restaurant that we can enjoy looking at, good interiors, walls wrapped in different and colourful Indian cloth materials, maybe go down the aisle and take a breezy feel of the balcony. So, the first round generally includes 'Dhokla', 'Dahi Wada', a few tikkis made with either green peas or potatoes or some other familiar Indian Street food sort of a dish. They are all quite decent. The case of mains is no different and the idea here is that they serve the phulkas and puris first along with over 5 choices of sabzis. They are good to taste. The ‘Masala Chhas’ is a well-made drink you would get dreams of! You will need a good appetite when you plan for this place, it isn’t a buffet but it’s surely one overwhelming experience.
