Right from the name of this establishment – keeping up with youthful parlance – to its indoors section with a fire-engine red pipe-lined ceiling, walls chock-a-block with colourful kitsch, a bar arrayed with LP records and giant CDs, and a spaced out al fresco section dotted with red fans, sparkly modern chandeliers, potted palms and so on, this place lends itself to a distinctly fun vibe. The rooftop restaurant (set in a mall) makes for a popular evening haunt, with its quirky snacks and booze menu to choose from. The offerings are limited to a two-page list, but pack a great deal of interesting combinations into what is available. The menu’s main focus is on bar-friendly starter items, encompassing local favourites such as bombil thecha rolls, Jessi’s Kerala beef and Lisa’s Sri Lankan beef, lemongrass chicken, masala onion rings, dhokla pakodas, and the like. The mains make for a rather small inventory, with cheese maggi (yay!) in two flavours, paneer makhani or bhuna mutton with paratha, and a distinctive railway chicken curry with neer dosa. Quick, movement-friendly sort of foods find a place on their offerings as well, such as the chilli cheese naan and chicken naan pizza, or sandwiches including a Mumbai grill, chilli beef and dongri mutton. Interestingly, there is no mention of desserts on the menu card.
