When Monkey Bar or MoBar as it often known in the circles made way for Toast and Tonic and moved to Indiranagar, something that rarely happens took place – the crowd followed it. Distance did not make a difference to MoBar fans and the made the trek no matter where they were for their fix of 'Mangaa and General Tso’s Chicken'. Among the first place to offer familiar, yet gourmet food to go with your tipple, the menu has been seeing some nice changes over times. Favourites however still remain the 'Hot Wings' (try the 'Bhoot Jholokia' versions if you up to the challenge), the mildly spiced 'Kheema Samosas' and the very popular 'Crab Rangoon' – wontons of crab and cream cheese. The 'Tiger Beef' has always been a part of the menu from day one and with good reason. For those who would like a touch of Goa – the 'Goan Chorizo Pao' is one of the best around here. For when the craving for a good laksa comes, the 'Mobar Laksa' is definitely one to try. A very indulgent pizza is the 'Mushroom and Truffle Oil' one. If there is one thing MoBar is known for, it is its burgers – go with the 'Old School Beef Burger', pickles, cheese, mustard or the 'Cuban Sandwich' with pulled pork and smoked ham. There are also some really great veggie burgers which are not the run-of-the-mill patties but the likes of the 'Lentil and Bean Burger', 'Amaranth Leaves', 'Walnuts' and 'Portabella Mushrooms' all coming together! The 'Naga Pork Bowl' with 'Gobhindobhog Rice' is a great main course, if you get till there as are the 'Mobar Fish' and 'Chips'. The 'Nutella and Old Monk Cake' brings 2 favourites together (you can get a version without the Old Monk as well) and the 'Churros' are an absolute delight. Besides the Mangaa, the 'Seven Kingdom Cocktail' is one to try.
