In the autumn and the winter, this is one of Delhi’s loveliest restaurants with little pavilions and covered areas offering a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. The name of the restaurant comes from Spain and there is an impressive tapas menu but the food is Mediterranean so you’ll find Italian favourites including pizzas.
Little Italy in New Delhi. Authentic fare with a mix of rustic italian decorations and modern italian cuisine. Service is impeccable and you eat with the eyes as much as with the palate.
Seville is a modern day beauty in the heart of a concrete jungle and personifies 'Romance' in the most Luxurious Manner. We chose this restaurant to bring a befitting end to Kunnu's birthday celebrations. Dimly-Lit Canopies, soothing music and the candlelights are the perfect set-up for a romantic dinner and Seville aces at that. Ordered Coca, Paella Vallencia (minus Chorizo) and Cherry Creme Brule (can't remember the name clearly) was ordered. Coca was something that we have eaten anywhere and everywhere. Nothing different about this preperation. In fact, the chicken was hard and dry. Paella Vallencia was the perfect dish...a dish that one looks forward to having in a Spanish restaurant. It was moist, seafood was tender (in fact even the squids were soft) and the spices were just right. Cherry Creme Brule was the biggest disappointment for us. Lacked flavors and had berries instead of promised cherries. While the lady attendant was quite warm and helpful, the guy who swiped the card was quite rude and weird. He snatched the Bill holder from us and vanished for almost 20 minutes until we saw him again and drew his attention to us. This time, unapologetically he swipes the card, roughly, and bangs the machine on the table for us to enter the pin. This was so totally weird. Prices are steep and not justified to the quantity and taste they serve. The only best thing about Seville is the ambience and Paella....just go for that.
The mention of Sevilla brings up a very rosy image in mind considering the restaurant's ambiance and ratings it possesses. But all that glitters isn't gold. Easy to reach through google maps, the restaurant is one of the restaurants of the Claridges hotel. The variety the restaurant offers is quite limited considering main course options, pre-starters/tapas are decent in number. They have few signature dishes which are generally recommended by the staff too. Ambiance is good, but could have been a lot better. Added to that, the staff isn't really bothered to check upon the guests glasses just in case they would need some more water to drink. No doubt the food is innovative in make & taste, but the place doesn't really live up to the expectations
Just had probably the best meal I've ever tasted . This restaurant is Mediterranean food and was finger licking good . Bit pricey but worth every bit of it . Lovely waiter abhisheik who was very knowledgeable on the food and on locals areas for shopping and entertainment . A delightful young man and a credit to the claridges
We ate here twice while staying at 'The Claridges', much the best atmosphere of the hotel's restaurants. Service was truly excellent first time, got the impression our waiter really cared. Second time service was a tad disappointing, not as good as it should be for the top restaurant in what wants to be a top hotel. Food good on both occasions. But the real reason to eat here is the ambience - what a pleasure.

There are not many Spanish restaurants in New Delhi and not as beautiful as Sevilla at the claridges. This restaurant is perfectly made for special occasions. The design is breathtakingly beautiful. This scenic place is so romantic it builds anticipation the moment you start walking on the cobbled path leading to the restaurant. Instead of one room restaurant you will be delighted to come upon little pavilions and covered areas serving as the restaurant. The outdoor and indoor blending together Sevilla will enchant you endlessly. The stunning concept of pavilions and covered areas with lighted cobbled path transports you to Spain. The restaurant is cleverly woven with the trees and the upper floor sitting area on the pavilion makes it a heady memory. The cuisine served at Sevilla is Mediterranean with major influence from Spanish territory. The food as expected of a five star hotel is so delicious and lovely. The presentation is Michelin star worthy with bright colours standing out on the plate with finesse.
The Spanish influence on the menu can be well sensed by the dishes offered by the chef. The chef does an amazing job with the ingredients doing them full justice. The menu is fabulous with tapas of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian variety. Patatas bravas and goat cheese gnocchi are superb. Romana artichokes served with salsa verde is typically Spanish so do try them out. In non—veg tapas gambas del chorizo, calamares, spelt paella and bacalao bianco are regional Spanish recipes. If you are not much hungry and want to just admire the ambience then our suggestion is choose your favourite wine and order tapas. Mediterranean starters are presented by the chef too. Alaskan crab salad, fasolada, sea scallops, carpaccio, Quinoa salad can be ordered as well. Artisan pastas, risotto, pizzas, and paella are popular categories. In mains wagyu, tagine, duo of duck, lentil crepes, Chilean sea bass are exceptional. But desserts are the best part of the meal.
Desserts section offers some unique dishes. Classic Spanish dessert churros, chocolate ravioli, catalan tarts and homemade gelatos crown the meal. The staff of sevilla waits on you with friendly attitude observing your every need. The restaurant is expensive so it is often visited for special occasions. Delicious food and beautiful ambience makes Sevilla a popular choice.
