Absolut Punjab is located on the first floor of a shopping complex on Satellite Road. One whole side of the restaurant overlooks the street and it has tall windows which give you a lovely view of the road which looks even better in the night. The interiors are done up in shades of pink and peach with red upholstered chairs. The tables are set with enough space between them to provide enough privacy so that one is not overhearing conversations from another table. There is also a small waiting area for guests if the place is full though it is quite a big restaurant with around 24 tables. There are chandeliers which add a touch of grandeur to the place. The menu has photographs of former kings of Lahore and Patiala in keeping with the Punjabi theme of Absolut Punjabi. Non-vegetarians should definitely try the 'Kharode Ka Shorba'. Vegetarians should try the 'Khumbhiyan Peshawari', fresh Mushrooms Stuffed With Pickle Spiced Paneer and small bits of mushrooms. It is their signature dish. Non-vegetarians should go for 'Pudina Murgh', it is also their signature dish. The chicken in this dish is tasty and juicy on the inside. Spicy but not overly, so, try it. The 'Murgh Tangdi Kebab' which is stuffed, another signature dish, is also a must-try item.
