Sheraton New Delhi, District Centre, Saket, New Delhi

  • The menu is divided into four sections - Medieval, Sanctuary, Cosmopolitan and New Delhi - offering an impressive variety, from Chittaranjan Park’s street specialities to burgers and fish ’n’ chips
  • Go for the Fat Boy Burger – it is the juiciest in the city
  • For the dessert option, don’t think much and just order the New Delhi Hot Chocolate Fudge

After wallowing in the shadows of Dakshin and Pan-Asian, the all-day dining restaurant formerly known as Baywatch has transformed into a brighter, smarter Delhi Pavilion. From its smart new look inspired by Red Fort’s floral motifs and the overworked selfie booth (a tribute to a present-day obsession), to an eclectic menu that mirrors the national capital’s cosmopolitan culture, Delhi Pavilion is an overdue addition to the city’s vibrant dining scene. A meal at Delhi Pavilion is like taking a food walk across the city. If the Delhi Fish Fry replicates the top-selling item of the famous Ganesh Machchiwala of Karol Bagh, the Mutton Seekh Mirza does a competent job of reproducing the silky softness of the kababs at Karim’s. The Mutton Tandoori Chaamp, marinated in malt vinegar spiked with sugarcane juice, has the texture of a barrah kabab, but its marination gives it a distinctive sweet and sour taste. Bania contributions to Delhi’s cornucopia of cuisines are honoured with dishes such as Khasta Kachori Chaat and Dal Biscooti Delhi, an evolved form of the popular Dal Moradabadi, in the same way as the Chicken Makhni Burger and Meat Hoggers Pizza are expressions of the city’s evolving contemporary cuisine. Go to Delhi Pavilion and re-discover the many tastes and flavours that define Dilli ka Khana.

About Delhi Pavilion, Sheraton, New Delhi, South Delhi

Delhi’s dining scene is like a kaleidoscope of various cultures coming together to form a structured beautiful picture. No cuisine is left untouched in the city and each part of the city carries a distinct impression of its inhabitants. Supposedly, old Delhi is popular for its Mughlai fare and west Delhi is unbeatable in terms of North Indian spread. To capture the true versatile essence of the city many restaurants have tried to include various culinary facets of Delhi in their menu but nobody comes even close to achieving that except for ‘Delhi Pavilion’. What used to be Baywatch is now the fancy Delhi Pavilion redefined and reinvented after its stunning makeover. Part of Sheraton Hotel in Saket, South Delhi, the restaurant is operational 24X7 luring its patrons with an eclectic menu.

Dining at Delhi Pavilion is like taking an elaborate food walk around the city, stopping at only the best of places. Delhi’s gastronomic legends are honoured in the menu and someone who is well aware of offerings will recognize many famous names. Delhi Pavilion’s menu tackles North Indian, Continental and Asian cuisine in an extensive manner, opening with an array of appetizers like, tandoori chop, madras tiffin, classic ceasar, khao suey, watermelon & goat cheese salad, Delhi Pavilion chaat bento, dehlnavi silvatte ke shammi, seekh mirza and delhnavi baqala kebab. The main course entails, diwani handi, Delhi fried fish, bedmi aloo, fish n chips, crispy fiery paneer, seabass fillet, pizzas, sliced fish in black bean sauce, pastas, keema kaleji with pao bun, mapo tofu, fat boy burger, vegetable roulade, year thokku, Kolkata chicken kathi, poori choley and lal qilla Haleem.

Sweet course offers a delectable spread of banoffee pie, yoghurt berry parfait, New Delhi hot chocolate fudge, Mississippi mud cake, chocolate & walnut brownie and dehlnavi kulfi. Kids get their own separate menu, a touch we found to be adorable. Since its renovation Delhi Pavilion has become smarter, stylish and classier than before. An elongated spacious sunlit hall at the back of the hotel lobby is your first impression of Delhi Pavilion. The restaurant is designed to keep the refined tastes of its patrons in mind. Tall screens divide the room at comfortable levels giving the diners a sense of seclusion and privacy. Traditional motifs are used in furnishings to bring in the element of Delhi-inspired theme. The restaurant is expensive and rightfully so.
