Surah is pretty much what you would expect from a pocket-friendly watering hole. The cocktail selection is small and predominantly features white spirit-based classics such as 'Screw Driver', 'Bloody Marry', and 'Pina Colada'. The spirit selection focuses on strong beers and IMFL. The food is a bit of a pleasant surprise. While the menu is pretty generic, the execution is better than what you might expect at a budget bar. The kitchen is adept at dishing out the kind of fiery and punchy flavours that Hyderabadis love with their drinks. Take your pick from bar nibbles such as 'Paneer Pakoda', 'Chilly Egg', 'Telangana Chicken', and 'Bangla Chicken'. If you have the appetite for it, finish off with the 'Boneless Mutton Biryani', which is amongst the best you would find in this area.
