Oceanic is the all-day dining or coffee shop of The Peerless Inn. What sets it apart from a lot of other coffee shops is their ambience which is light and airy. Towards the buffet counter is a very large aquarium and the other end of the restaurant has large glass windows overlooking a garden giving it a very natural setting. The menu is a concoction of European, Oriental and Indian cuisine, although you will not find too many options from each. However, they do serve a pretty lavish buffet of the choicest of dishes and ingredients. Seafood is definitely prevalent in their lunch and dinner buffet.Their grilled fish with exotic vegetables in a must try from the European section.

If you want to indulge in the best seafood, head straight to Oceanic located on Jawahar Lal Nehru Road in Kolkata. This is an all-day dining restaurant located at The Peerless Inn. The place is airy and nice. Try to take a table right next to the large glass windows which open right into the garden area. The menu of Oceanic comprises of Indian, European and Oriental delicacies. The starters include dishes such as Satay with Peanut Dips, Prawn Aglio Olio, Corn Flake Chicken, Sushi Paltter, Herb Crusted Potato Wedges, Bruschetta, Dimsum, Greek Pita Souvlaki Wraps, Chimichanga etc. Try the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Tuna loin sandwich, BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Creamy Chicken Sandwich etc. In Indian you can order Lal Mansh, Dun-E-Biryani, fish Curry, Sole Rasile, Jhinge Diwani Bahar, Dal Makhani, Tangri Kebab, Dum-e- Aloo, Chicken Tikka etc. You must try the pizzas and Pastas available here. The food is fresh and tasty.
