This train-themed restaurant with the dining area in train coaches is undoubtedly attractive and unique. The service staff dressed in railway uniforms, the dining-car style seating and curtained windows, complete the setting. The food served here is pure Vegetarian Gujarati cuisine. Lunch has limited and unlimited thalis on offer while dinner is only À la carte. The menu offers Gujarati delicacies like Panki, Khichiyu Pattice, Batata Nu Shaak With Puri. The staff is articulate and explains the thalis extremely well. An array of vegetables, dal, kadhi, are served in the thali, along with Biscuit Bhakri, Puri, Phulka, Khichdi and Rice. The Farsan being just a meagre Dhokla is a bit disappointing. Of course, there is a chaat counter too where one needs to go to enjoy Pani Puri, Sev Puri And Ragda Pattice. The Pineapple Sheera And Kheer for dessert are delightful. The thali offerings are tasty but not outstanding as Mumbai offers several better options. It is the warm hospitality and impeccable service that wins you over. There is a bar menu available too.
