  • The baked butter garlic prawns and their take on the chicken tikka make for great starters, as does the Amritsari Goat Milk Paneer Tikka
  • For mains, go with the lovely lamb chops or Delhi's Original Butter Chicken
  • One must-try desserts here. There is an entire counter devoted to sweet delicacies, which reminds you of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Go for their 'Pecan Pie', 'Blueberry Cheesecake', or one of their lovely 'Gelatos' and homey toppings

AnnaMaya swears by its tagline: “Eat mindful, Shop artisanal, Raise awareness.” Not surprisingly, its menu is replete with dishes featuring vegetables sourced from Tijara Organic Farms where both organic and biodynamic farming is practised. There are other sustainable collaborations that the restaurant engages in so as to present wholesome food to its well-heeled and aware diners. There are multi-coloured glass panels separating the outdoors and the interiors. Try and snag a seat next to these translucent panels for a kaleidoscopic experience. The spicy 'Jaipuri Lamb Seekh Kebab in flaky Paratha' featured 2 dry bite-sized kebabs. Another dish, 'Roasted Free Range Chicken' could do with significant improvements. There was a freshly-made warm 'Brownie that packed in nuts and chocolate in generous quantities. AnnaMaya stays busy even on a weeknight. It is wise to make reservations beforehand to ensure that you get a seat upon arrival.
