Spread across three floors, Tourist has a travel-themed décor with a lot of effort put in the detailing. There is a library section on one of the floors with travel books, thrillers, autobiographies and journals curated from all over the world. The distraction for readers caused by the music can be pardoned considering the effort that has been put. An entire wall is made using suitcases, which is designed to look like a huge stack of luggage. Another section has bunk beds where diners can climb up and relax. The 'Kosha Mangsho' is almost as nice as the one you get in a traditional Bengali household. The place gets crowded on weekends; to avoid waiting, prior reservation is recommended.

If you claim to know Delhi very well and brag about partying in almost every pub or bar there is then hold your horses for you haven’t tried one place, which we promise will mesmerize you. Although the name is surprisingly not-so-creative, we still find the place to be a delightful find. ‘Tourist’ lies in the wonderfully hot location at Scindia House on Janpath Road, Connaught Place and is surrounded by the best of nightspots in the city. If you are serious about partying then you can’t do better than Tourist. After the nightmare of the traffic, hand over your keys to the valet and step into the mood immediately to party. Just take a lift right to the top floor to reach Tourist and find a table indoors or in their charming outdoor area.
