Walk into nostalgia at Casa Sarita, the Goan themed restaurant with artefacts from days of yore. Helmed by the affable Chef. Lynton Moraqis he has something to please one and all. Start off with the Appetizers. The 'Bharlelim Almi', mushrooms stuffed with vegetables and cheese, sautéed with Goan red masala is a well-placed and researched menu from the house of old. The famous 'Chouris Pao', local spiced pork sausages served with Goan bread - the quintessential Goan equivalent to the 'Mumbai Vada Pao', is something that will definitely have you asking for more. Try the 'Caldo De Galinha' - a hearty chicken broth served with garlicky bread croutons and follow that with the Vaingachem Piri Piri - a delectably slow-cooked eggplant in the famous peri- peri masala. The catch of the day fetched the 'Pamplet Rechad' - a pan-seared pomfret with red masala and toddy vinegar that tickled the palate asking one for more. Wrap up the meal with the 'Dessert Platter' of 'Bebinca'' and 'Dodol'.
