The décor of this Mumbai chain brought to Pune discussions of family dining comfort, with well spaced out, comfortable AC seating, wooden flooring, bright stained glass windows and faux-straw lanterns. If I went for a meal there, I would probably start out with the eye-watering spicy crabmeat soup, proceeding to a starter of corn cream, or crispy corn water chestnuts, sizzling black pepper paneer, crispy thread chicken, or star anise roast lamb. Lovers of seafood, on the other hand, could sample their crunchy chilli fish or crispy ginger prawns. Their pan-fried hunan noodles go nicely with a chicken with cashewnuts; alternatively, delve in to the chicken pepper fried rice with prawns in sweet garlic sauce, if not the fiery red-cooked lamb main. Other must-tries include the apple chicken and kung pao potatoes, with the yum Thai pot rice or signature 5 Spice noodles.
