The very first edition of Kolkata EazyDiner Foodie Awards 2026 took place on Saturday, 26th September 2026 at The Westin Kolkata, Rajarhat, honouring the best restaurants in Kolkata alongside the city's finest bars, cafes and hotels across 57 categories, decided by votes from diners. Hosted by Ridhima Bhatnagar, the evening recognised everything from Park Street institution Peter Cat to rooftop bars in Chowringhee and a microbrewery in Rajarhat New Town.

Kolkata voted for its old names as loudly as its new ones at the first Kolkata EazyDiner Foodie Awards. Peter Cat on Park Street and Arsalan were named The OGs of Kolkata, Flurys won The Best Bakery & Patisserie, and Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick took The Best Mishti.

The newer dining belts of Salt Lake and Rajarhat New Town collected their own share of the 2026 awards. Mintelaa in Sector 1, Salt Lake won The Best Fine Dining Restaurant, Country Roads in Rajarhat New Town won The Best Microbrewery, and Glook The Sky Lounge, also in Rajarhat New Town, shared Kolkata's Best View.

Bengali food earned four categories of its own at the Kolkata EazyDiner Foodie Awards 2026: The Best Bengali Food Experience, The Best Bengali Restaurant Chain, The Best Bengali Cuisine Premium and The Taste of Bengal. The city's hotels, including ITC Sonar, ITC Royal Bengal, JW Marriott, Hyatt Regency and The Westin Kolkata, won across buffets, brunch, bars and all-day dining.
